Actually, some believe that 52hz whale 🐳 is deaf and, because it's deaf, it sings its song wrong, thus that's why they've had yet to find and identify it. It's pretty sad when you think more about it, as whales are a creature that communicates mostly in song, adding onto to the fact that they are social. If the whale is really a deaf whale of an ordinary species, then it's genuinely lonely.
@asteroses5 жыл бұрын
Deaf people can still "hear" music by the vibrations-especially the bass. The levels whales communicate at, including the 52 hertz one, are extremely low-super bass. So, the whale is probably not so bad off, at least :)

Why would it sing high pitched though? Human deaf folk speak high pitched, but is it reasonable to expect this of whales?

1: The great white that was eaten isn't a mystery. 2: The "11 ft hairy dolphin" is a beaked whale. The fur is not fur, it's blubber filaments that are rotting. Also, baby whales and dolphins aren't covered in fur like suggested they only have fur on their snout. 3: the 30 ft long mystery carcass is an orca, not just because of the fin. The teeth are identical to an orca and so is the skull. People say "it's not an orca, look at the jaw and head" the head is rotten and that's why it has that shape. An orca's skull is thinner than the head of the carcass 4: the mystery whale is the only mystery on this list 5: The video of a "megalodon" is a sleepy shark. It is a large shark but its smaller than the biggest great white so no, it's not a megalodon or any other extinct or mystery shark. Megalodon couldn't survive a depths like that, megalodon was a surface predator and ate whales. It wouldn't go to the bottom of the ocean (which would kill it) to eat a tiny piece of meat. When they said "it made sharks that are 6 ft long scatter" the little sharks in the video weren't 6 ft, the species has a max size of 6 ft. the small sharks in the clip were about 2 ft give or take a few centimetres. That would make the sleeper shark about 20 ft long maximum. Also the "giant" shark in the video was brown. It is unlikely that megalodon was brown. Since megalodon was a surface creature it likely had countershading (light on the bottom dark on the top like a great white or penguin). The sleeper shark is brown because it lives at the bottom of the sea.

I know this video is 7 years old, but the shark feeding from the crate has always captured my attention, and to me, it looks like a sleeper shark, also known as the Greenland shark. The coloration is very similar, and they're known to have parasites feeding from their corneas resulting in blindness, but this matters little in deep, dark water. I can't find any sources that say they live in Japan, and typically they're known to frequent arctic and subarctic waters. They can also live to be about 275-500 years old as of modern research so far, so they can, theoretically, grow to enormous sizes depending on habitat conditions and food supply. Super strange, but one of the most interesting sea creature videos on the internet in my opinion!
