I just bought the Telluride. I drove the Piolt, Highlander, and Pasisades. To mean none offered the balance of exterior and interior that Telluride did. Both Honda and Toyota ride their reputation of reliability, which is deserved, but their cabin is cheap looking and feeling.

Naah, i test drove both Telluride and Palisade, ended up with the 24 Calligraphy trim beige interior. Palisade soaked up the bumps better and the interior felt more luxurious than the SX Prestige Telluride. It was an easy choice for me.

@al151 The thought the Palisade was ugly, the grill is awful on the calligraphy, but I will say I didn't see the night shade edition when I was looking. It depends on what you are looking for. For me the Telluride is more tough looking, and I like the Terracotta leather over the tan. Like I said the balance for me between the looks interior and exterior.

Who needs a 3rd row? I can't help but wonder which families in the North America are having 5 kids these days and actually need a 7 seater?! The average number of kids per family in 2020 in the United States is 1.93. In Canada, the average number of children per family is 1.1. In fact in China, the average number of children per family was 1.18 in 2020. India reports an average of 2.22 children per family. So if we assume the average family is having 1 - 2 kids, why would the auto industry be so focused on 7 seaters? OH yeah it's just marketing bigger and more expensive and more profitable SUV's that no one actually needs Of all the 3 row SUV's that are being sold, I would love to see actual stats regarding how many buyers actually use the third row! I would much rather have a smaller SUV with 5 seats, more fuel efficient, and ultimately more cargo room! That's plenty for 99% of the families out there!!!!

The Grand Highlander is mot likely going to be very reliable, but god does it drive awful. Its like handling a boat. Palisade or CX-90 are the best cars in this class for value/reliability/Drive.
