I get that things happen, but getting in water with clothes on? A tiny bit of common sense tells everyone that the first thing you do if you fall in water is shed clothes as fast as you can. I can't even imagine. I fell off a log bridge on an enduro bike once into a stream pool. As I hit the water my first thought was "oh no, I am going to sink like a rock". Oddly enough I was wearing goretex riding pants and a heavy down jacket, which to my joyous surprise, floated me to the top. Believe me when I say I got out as fast as I could though. Mostly dry except for my boots being full of water. It is so extremely dangerous to wear clothes in the water. Had I got caught on a log or the bike or something that would have been the end. Never wear clothes in water.

For everyone who is going to go off on the bra gun first lets look at the facts. Striker fired guns and guns without external safeties have to have the trigger guard fully enclosed. As a firearms instructor, I would NEVER carry in position one (magazine loaded, and a round in the chamber), especially in a bra holster. Was the safety on? If it was a backstrap and trigger safety then she definitely should not have been carrying hot. So sad and an unnecessary tragedy.
