Hey Tommie. What do you recommend binding settings for someone new to snowboarding and looking to do all mountain? I believe I’m at +9/-9 right now riding regular. I’m feeling more confident carving toe side as opposed to heel side. Seems I’m sliding out more on heel side carves. Thanks

TommieB Can you make a video that is super geeky around all the flexibilty use. How you Got it and Got exercises so the rest of us Can get it !!! I have noticed how much you use it allways. And there must be more to it than bending your knees

Incredible how much your videos helped me on my first snowboarding trip. Cant be overstated. First run I just put in to practice the things you and another KZbin taught me and it made for a good first day that turned into an amazing 3rd and fourth day for my son and I. Cant imagine ever putting ski boots on again. Thought I couldn't enjoy anything more than wake boarding/surfing. Then came snowboarding. Thanks Tommie!

Please make more of these videos Tommie, you are my snowboarding Professor , without knowing it, and helping me improve through your thorough break down in physical dynamics and actual posture/weight adjustment /movements explanations so much so that I’m enjoying myself, even when I wreck . Thank you 🙏🏻

Tommie, thanks for another great video. Since discovering your channel we have both been improving our riding after boarding on and off now for 20 years. Your tips really work, and our turns and confidence have really improved, and we have started trying switch too. We love your coaching style, demos and great way of breaking down issues and solutions . Thanks so much - great work sir! Ray & Sue (the Greys on Trays!)😊

This is great for a beginner to learn postures right from the start! I was just wondering what you do with the other foot behind? Does it mimic the front foot or stay put ? May be a silly question :) I’m still figuring out which my front foot is lol

Hey Tommie awesome video as always! I wonder if you had considered putting timestamps on videos like these(tip1, tip2 etc.) since I find that super helpful to quickly navigate to different points. And of cause I still watch the whole video😀

The best part is the presenter is talking about perspective and situational awareness. That poor guy chose to bail as he didn't have the confidence to stop as the presenter is taking up the whole hill shooting his video at the top there. New guy was like "I'm in charge of not crashing into this guy in neon braking in front of me. Goin down!"

@@MrDanofthewest First off I'm pretty sure that's a girl. 2nd he had nothing to do with that she had plenty of room.. She's obviously a beginner and learning so her falling had nothing to do with tommie. But as the OP stated RIP.

There's an old video that oddly enough I just watched before this one where he said he's riding +15-15 with 21.5in stance. Not sure he's changed since but the video is 2 years old.
