it just sounded like she was telling the crowd what they wanted to hear. when you’re watching this episode, you don’t see her talking to her grandson, you see her talking to the audience. Her attention and attitude is being talked to by the audience and not her grandson. she has lied on the stage and pushed his feelings aside, barely owning up to it. Like when he explained that he’s hurt and that he just wants to talk to her and it’s hard to because she doesn’t listen she still not listening. all in all, I just don’t think that her feelings were genuine because she doesn’t necessarily show that

He lost his mother but SHE lost her daughter. She's grieving and so is he and I think she's angry that she became a mother all over again without help. She's frustrated and so is he. Their relationship is salvageable. It's anger, pain, and lack of communication and understanding. Edit : Ok, some of yall are getting it twisted. Im not minimizing the child's grief. What I'm saying is, she got hit hard TWICE ! She lost her child and NOW she has to raise a child. Neither one of them asked for this and they both need to heal and compromise so that they can build a strong relationship.

A 6 year old doesn’t owe his grandmother anything for raising him. I think she needs some intense trauma therapy. He could benefit from it too. She’s still very angry she lost her daughter but is taking it out on everyone around her. I feel for her. I’ve had 2 of my grandkids in the past and it’s definitely a position where we don’t get the credit we deserve but it’s not the kids we need it from. I love Candace. She has really done the emotional work. You can tell she has got herself healthy from her childhood and has clear boundaries. Felix is a walking red flag and seems to have the potential to be physically violent if he hasn’t been already. He is full of rage especially when he doesn’t get his way.

I def didn’t see the daughter as the bad one. I 100% believed the daughter about her mother having a mental illness that she isn’t getting treated for. Bipolar disease can be very serious if not treated. When bipolar people get into their manic stages they can become very reckless and irresponsible and def not safe to be left alone with kids. Her mother also blamed other people (like her baby daddy) for getting on drugs. While I understand that the baby daddy introduced her to the drugs she needs to take accountability for her choosing to start a drug habit while she has a small child to take care of. I could tell from the mother’s behavior that she tends to blame others for her mistakes in life.

That's doing too much when you can say either, "I apologize if I hurt you." Which is very self explanatory 🙄 Or, "If you felt hurt, I apologize." It's the same thing 💯

I dunno if Deekah (the daughter) is bipolar but I don’t think how she behaved on that stage was wrong or strange. Clearly she is angry and hurt about a lot of mistakes her mother has done in the past. Being abandoned by your mother because she had an addiction must be incredibly traumatizing. I’m sure many hurtful and traumatizing things have happened between them since. If her mother is bipolar and refusing to acknowledge that or get treatment it’s very understandable that Deekah doesn’t feel safe. If her mother did kidnap her child at some point it’s also very understandable she doesn’t feel her mother is safe for her child.

Candice is what it looks like when you have a toxic dynamic with your mom and there's a objective party present. Having had lost a child, I understand Sharon. Giving, giving, giving but when you are in need, no one is there. She never had the opportunity to grieve because she had to jump into being a parent again. She's not resentful towards her grandson, there is pure love but she's exhausted, angry, sad, frustrated, etc. Keonie doesn't quite understand that and as a young adult, we oftentimes only view things from our own perspective. There relationship is mendable because they have genuine love for one another. Therapy would do them well.

Why would her daughter make up that she has a bipolar diagnosis? Why would her daughter make up that her mother used to have a prescription? Why would her daughter make up that her mother abducted her child? I think it’s wild so many people watched this video and all they noticed was that the daughter was angry so they assumed the daughter must just be a bully and a bad person.

That Teon story was a mess and Teon disrespected his father 1st. He needs to realize his father is his father 1st not his homeboy. He started going off on his father 1st then had the nerve to mase him! His father was hurt and in his hurt said that word to his son. I don't think he meant it, it said it to hurt him. I feel the host wasn't received by the father because it seems like he's making excuses and sided with Teon for whatever reason. Teon was the aggressor not the father and the Father has to stand his ground and let HIS son know he's not going to tolerate disrespect. Out of Teon mouth his dad has been there for him. His bestfriend. And that's how you treat him?? That's not right.

that grandmother keeps on trying to manipulate and deflect and then she takes one thing he said and made a scene because she don't want to own up to her behavior.

Girl w the Boyfriend... she isnt addicted she has ZERO self esteem and she gets through the pain of feeling like nothing but finding pity parties. If she cared about herself more than him she would move out of chaos instead of waiting for someone else to move.

This is so sad to watch😔 I truly feel for Solomon. His father is so so jacked up and set in his ways! I truly hope that before he leaves this earth he gets it right with his son. There's so much anger and hurt😔 I really hope they heal and mend their broken hearts

That sister(red dress)is sooo in love with her husband while he loathes her. Honestly I think she has been rejected most of her life. Her husband possibly was the only one whom genuinely showed her love in the beginning but maybe he took a pause somewhere and asked himself WHY DID I GET MARRIED? But…he didn’t have to start mistreating her. JUST BE A MAN ABOUT IT and sit his wife down and speak on it…help her make it make sense.

The grandma attacking her grandson is insane. As a boy, he could never hit her back or defend himself without him looking like a bad guy. This is sad 😢. All of this emotional abuse is why he seems so emotionless

I thought that at first but if you listen she never had time to grieve her daughter because she had to step up and take care of her grandkids. And even the he said about court “she was the only one strong enough to relive it” she was being strong for everyone and no one gave her a moment to just fall apart about having lost her child

@@SmileyBug100that’s why it’s important to take care of your mental health before taking it out on children. There are a lot of parents and grandparents, Gen X and Boomers, who got used to swallowing their feelings and, in turn, took that pain out onto people they cared about or their children/grandchildren. It’s a trauma cycle.
