13:46 This grandma and granddaughter situation was traumatizing to listen to. The audience laughed at the fact that she was putting her hands on her grand daughter.. This is what I’m talking about when I say abuse against black girls goes unnoticed, they enable it and see it as discipline or a justified reason or a joke. It just makes me so sick to my stomach. The 1st daughter didn’t even know who her father was, the 2nd girl lost her mom and was dealing with an emotionally abusive grandma, the other 16 year old had to step up and be an adult because of her mom’s behavior. Discipline is doesn’t need to be physical and these kids deserve stability, consistency, example and love. Not this bs 🤷🏽‍♀️

I think the second teenager (the little girl with her grandma) was actually very smart and articulate!! I think it was actually the grandma doing wrong with that situation. She's very old school & getting older so I think having to raise her grandkids is stressful for her so she's taking it out on her granddaughter. That young girl, I think is going to go far! She seems extremely smart, intelligent, well spoken, & respectful to me!! (Not saying the young girl isn't doing things wrong, the Grandma is doing & saying alot worse things)

The grandmother and granddaughter are also triggering because the mother daughter relationship dynamic in black families needs to change. The way black moms not ALL but many have torn their daughters down through tough love needs to change as well. Many black girls feel rejected not only by absent fathers and the single moms who raised them out of fear of them turning out like them( used harsh language and unfair punishments)Moms traumas bleeding on their daughters still in 2023. We need to heal this generational trauma.

It breaks my heart to hear the little boy, Troy, talk about his mothers boyfriend. I relate deeply to the police being called and ignoring the obvious abuse of Black children. I really hope the adults in his life able to help him distance from that man. Abused kids often act out, period. It seems like he has a great sister behind him, offering to take custody of a child is a huge deal. Mom seems genuine too, i really hope at it goes well for them all.

I can tell by the mom’s appearance and jawline grinding that she is on drugs. I dealt with it with my own mom from 11-35 years old. Things were hard and things were said that still hurt me to this day. I lost her in January of this year but before she left I asked her to forgive me because I forgive her… with no apologies ever given to me. I pray for this family to heal and the mom to leave those drugs alone because if she don’t it will lead to health issues that will take her away permanently 😢

the grandmother in the second clip was the issue. she was disgusting and disrespectful to that girl. when the girl came out i was expecting to see someone wild and ridiculous, and she was well spoken and smart and polite. the grandmother wants to control her and thinks it’s always supposed to be “yes ma’am” and “no ma’am” and nothing else. and she was even disrespectful to her daughter, that girl passed and shes still slandering her name. well hell she won’t even SAY her daughters name. granny got issues and it ain’t the grandchild

The situation with the grandmother and her grand-daughter, the young boy with the sister with the afro, and the two girls where one had a job: all these scenarios really show how parents and parental guardians really often ignore how much impact they have on their children. Most children need attention, nuturing, and quality time together. I really hope the best for these children. My heart also goes out for the brother who brought his sister.
