Mistweaver was just not clicking for me. Since finding your channel only two weeks ago I've been hammering out level 20-22 keys effortlessly. Many thanks!

Hey LB, enjoy your content and watch it alot. A funny "d'oh" moment about sound ques happend to me, as I had your stream on my second monitor while doing some keys last night. I kept hearing the "Afflicted" sound que and I kept throwing out my PCT on my shammy. While I was looking around in my dungeon but couldnt see any Afflicted up and it took me half a key to realize that the sound ques were coming from your stream 😂

Really solid advice here. I personally need to record and replay myself more often!

One thing to add to the tip of reducing group damage. Your damage output as a healer can actually be extremely significant when it comes to how much dmg the group takes over a dungeon run. Not only do dead trash mobs do no dps, but pushing through a phase on a boss can reduce a ton of dmg.
@LBNinja78 ай бұрын
Yes and this is also a reason MDI pulls are possible, they can kill mobs in time for a single rotation of aoe cc is enough. Scale that down to whatever level you play at and doing 40k dps on a pack could mean the difference of no one having a kick to stop the last infected thorn cast!

One of the biggest tips I got early in healing was that your group does NOT need to be 100% health at all times. Obviously, you need to know what's going on, but if the group is chilling at 75%ish, and you know they aren't in danger of dying to anything, swap to dealing damage and help finish off the pack or boss. This is where his advice on knowing who enemy casts are targeting is very helpful, because you can quick top off that person, then return to dealing damage. It can be game changing to have your healer helping to kill mobs that might other wise get an extra cast or two off without their help. That being said, don't let your group die because you were focused on dpsing.
@LBNinja73 ай бұрын
Haha exactly! I always think of it as getting them healthy enough to survive the next hit!

@LBNinja7 just joined your discord, changing main to Mistweaver for War Within, I need to set up a new UI to make healing a bit easier. Thanks for the videos, they really helped me commit to the swap.

Hey Ninja! I was wanting to get your opinion on help/harm macros. For the uninitiated, help/harm macros have a beneficial spell for allies, and a harmful spell for your enemies, tied to the same keybind with a mouseover. For ex., I have Renewing Mist (help) and RSK (harm) tied together, and I just mouseover health bars (gumps) to cast. Love the channel! Thanks for all your hard work.

They can be great, but depending on the player and how they go about it can slow down reaction time. I use them quite a bit on all healers. Moon fire/rejuvenation. Wrath, regrowth, riptide, flame shock. Personally, I don’t like using them for melee abilities though. Can’t give you a reason, just doesn’t feel right to me.
@LBNinja78 ай бұрын
I have used them in the past but swapped off of them when I swapped to clique! But they can definitely be helpful!

Hey bro im new to shaman and im using rest shaman im curious if im just focused on just straight healing do i have to help with damage or can i just use healing for my top priority. Because im new to the whole healing thing but just curious

Hey Ninja, I've just come across your channel, and it's perfect for what I'm currently after. I'm an aspiring healer after only having played tank and DPS for the past 10+ years, I was just wondering what healer you would recommend for someone that's not new to the game, but is very new to healing?
@AlexanderHyll8 ай бұрын
MW, resto druid, holy priest in that order would be my top 3 (also play all healers except h pal). MW and druid are meta and also pug friendly with not too complex kits. The upside of being meta is quite large when trying to get in to keys even if it really doesnt matter much before say 28+ in terms of power. Resto and mw both have kits that can help do some stops, do some damage but also simply has enough throughout (especially spot healing) to outheal most fails in 26 and below keys.
@JoshuaRAWRR8 ай бұрын
@@AlexanderHyllThank you, I may give Holy priest a look, as it's your more conventional healer class, and it opens up the ability to play Disc in the future if I fancy a change.
@LBNinja78 ай бұрын
My go to would be mistweaver and resto shaman. If you like how tanks control the game then these two specs have a ton of utility to scratch that itch!

Can you maybe share, how you make the font with colors like this? It looks so nice, I'd love it for my Instagram!
@LBNinja78 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! I use photoshop, but what I do is instead of giving the text a color I give it a gradient, which you can set the two colors and what a gradient does is it fades from one color to another!

Almost at 3100 on pres evoker, For me, in season 2, I got to about 2500, i did 3 20s and had no real plan for cooldown rotation now i have more of an idea of what cds to use and when but there are some instances where the tank goes power crazy pulls tripple the amount i was expecting so i tend to be more conservative with CDs than i probably should be.
@Luke-A8 ай бұрын
On a side note, I log every dungeon to analyse afterwards, succeed or failure. If I see on logs that people are being 1 shot at specific points in a dungeon and its avoidable then I know its not my issue where as if someone is taking hits of 3m over 20 seconds and I only healed for 500k then that's something I need to pay more attention too.

What is your hardest healer so far or overall
@LBNinja78 ай бұрын
If i'm being totally honest, it's not even that any healer is harder. It's moreso that I sit in queues for longer and longer since less people are playing the game at +22-+23 levels right now than usual. But to give you a real answer, I think Hpal or evoker could end up being the "hardest"

I feel like the whole recording thing is detrimental to your progression for 99% of people. I have a 6800 XT with a 5800XD computer, it’s not a trash computer, but I get 60 FPS in-game, if i start recording i’m going to drop to like 5-10 fps in certain situations and will most likely die from it. I’m pretty sure there’s a whole bunch of people with way worse hardware than me.
@LBNinja78 ай бұрын
I'm pretty sure mine is pretty close to yours. I don't have a good computer at all, but recording is honestly not that straining on your system, streaming is though. But basic obs is free and doesn't use a lot, and streamlabs uses only a bit more!
