My oldest son (born in '97) was a HUGE Kobe fan as a kid. His little brother (born in '10) recently got SUPER into basketball, probably because the 76ers were in the playoffs this year. I don't really know. I always thought Kobe was a phenomenal athlete, and he was good. But that winning it in 2010, i was like "Damn!" I had a deep respect and acknowledgement of his greatness. Top 3 is a very hard spot to get. i don't think about where he should be, or most players tbh, but anything top 15 are Extremely Exceptional. Top 10 is Supremely Elite. Top 5 are Ascended.

Spent some time with a friend of a friend that worked with Kobe at BodyArmor post retirement. That next season G Hill played against the pacers I got a grant hill poster that game. Got my Michigan hat signed by Jalen Rose and poster signed by half the pistons. While G Hill was signing I said you’ve been working on your jumper. He stopped and looked up at me. I said it looks better but still needs some work. The look he gave me was priceless.
