I love these shorts!! This helped me so much I’ve been struggling with pigeon. Thank you for clarifying that your best leg doesn’t have to be at a 90• angle, I can get bent leg up any higher!

The closer your heel ( of the front leg ) to your hip is, the easier the pose . And by consequence: less gain in matter of flexibility. This is good for beginners. However after a certain period of time ot becomes too easy, and you need to make it more challenging in order to achieve a greater flexibility. Having the front leg in a 90 degree angle becomes inevitable then.

This is such a beautiful sketch for me, but definitely can't get to 90 degrees...yet! It appears the hips being square is the biggest point, no matter where you are in the stretch! Knowing the important parts of these stretches is HUGE for me!

I know this is off subject, but it would be so wonderful if you posted in the descriptions of your videos and shorts where you're outfit pieces are from. In so many of your videos I fall in love with the items you're wearing, it'll be yoga outfits that just strike a comforting cord in me, but I can never find them on my own. Hey just letting you know I see all the comments and try to get back to as many as I can’t. The majority of my yoga wardrobe is from we are tala and then in the winter months I wear whatever I can because I feel the cold so it’s joggers and jumpers for me 🙏

Sadly, there's no way I can align my hips or even touch the ground with the hip.. somehow pigeon is really hard for me.
