711L will work with any 1/4” Gerber SOG. Just like all Leatherman bits and extensions will work with Gerber and SOG 1/4” drivers.

I'm not interested in the awl but I am interested in those tools shown at 4:28 if they fit into the Leatherman removable screwdriver slot. I hate that 2D Phillips head that comes with the wave and the surge. I would much rather use a regular, normal #2 screwdriver bit.

Ya I've used the 711 ratchet many times and it's been great. Just wish it had a magnetic holder!
