I cut 80% of my t-shirts sweat shirts. I was getting bored my usual cuts. Getting warm now here in NYC. So just unloaded bunch of my son's t-shirts he out grew. My hubby's which he forgets about over winters ,hehehe, that want. So I get to claim. He is tall. I'm 5' so his soft cool t-shirts punk rock summer dresses for me! I was bored. I went to cut a bunch just now. I was bummed. Out if new ideas. I also love the half tuck! & just the 90's back in style color blocking. You are my new favorite GENIUS!!! My t-recontruction hero! I'm 100% making cropped t-shirts & dress t-shirts w/your half-n-half idea! Along w/some well placed punk rock shredded cuts. 1st thing I'm cutting is mine. Basic Hanes woman's basic crew neck Heather navy sweatshirt w/matching joggers. Basic basic. I got them at shoprite over winter. Not usually Hanes swears there. Christmas time. Had mens & wemons 4bux each. They r super soft. All cotton but of course shrink in wash even tho I got 2x my size. Crew neck is like a nuse. But still so soft. I have in thr Heather navy & in light grey Heather. I'm halving. Cropping. Pants & sweatshirts. Cutting off those necks. Adding shoulder cut one side. And shredding the lower sides of shirts in triangle. Cut the shreds into pant legs on outer sides in random places to match. That's all thanks to you. I was going to toss them! I have bunch of my son's outgrown t-shirts make amazing half n fall crops for summer & hubby tees make amazing dresses. Instead of having to give em shape by restiching outside stitches which time consuming. I can take in shape a bit w/uneven cut down middle. Where I'm connecting. I am no longer bored with my t-shirt make overs. 🎉 u made my day & wardrobe. Xo
