@@BlueprintDIY I was thinking of another way to do the asymmetrical one. What if you did two shirts and went asymmetrical in both directions! It would kind of be a criss-cross, wrap situation. It'd be better for the girls if I wore a bra. 🤭 I may give it a shot! It could be a two-tone variation. I love all your stuff, Angelina! It's just so inspiring. Keep up the good work!

I am learning so much from you Angelina. I love to sew knit and crochet. One thing I learned is the T-shirt yarn. I use patterns at times for clothes but I make the item my own. So recently I have made some tunic tops that I love. It still looked plain to me just a big shirt. So I was thinking to make same fabric yarns and then crochet a belt. I think it would make tunic more interesting. My fabric is a small stripe of black and white. I thought maybe use same fabric or maybe make black fabric yarn and mix my black and white fabric in my yarn. It's so fun to design. Thanks for all your ideas.

This gives me some very good ideas for how to modify my t-shirts so that they no not need to be tucked into my pants. I am short waisted so all t-shirts are way too long for me. It is cost prohibitive to have them hemmed since I don't sew but this is a great idea of how to solve my problem. I particularly like the ruffle at the bottom style as I don't like to show my almost 60 year old skin too much. Thanks again for these inventive ideas.

Favourite is the ruffle bottom, also like the idea someone else came up with to add more ruffles to the sleeves too. Just realised (a bit more work plus a machine) I'd put some plain silk tops aside for the thrift shop, will now cut the bottoms off, hem the edges and sew the ruffles back on (so they don't fray). Will really perk them up again and give them a new lease of life. I might even combine the different colours, dark ruffle on light top, light ruffle on dark top, or maybe use the dark one to make bottom and sleeve ruffles on the light one... :). Would really appreciate it if you could you show us how to make flounces/cap sleelves/ruffles to go around edges of sleeve holes?
@deniseoates71473 жыл бұрын
Woooow! I don't have to worry about glue or sewing machine and have these type of looks? This is freaking great. My favorite styling on you was with the one shoulder but I really like the ruffled hem because one I like the 2 options looks it gave me and second it bra friendly. I am so hype on doing one of these easy no sew upcycles. I had to view this video 4 x to believe what I was seeing. I may not have the sewing machine but this kind of helps with that disappointment. The ruffle is what I will be trying first (I think). I will make sure to take a photo if I look okay in it. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
