No one has died from a spider bite in NZ since 1972
@HaastTalonАй бұрын
White tail spider is an Australian Import, and the worst thing about them is their living conditions, I got bitten by about a dozen while taking down an old roof(Roof dropped open at my end and they were surprised/scared so reacted by biting, most of the time they just keep to themselves.), it hurt, then a few days later it was nothing.

MONKEYS??? I grew up in Auckland and although I saw Wallabies on our occasional family trips to visit Kawau Island, I don’t recall seeing monkeys there. I could be mistaken, it was about 60 years ago, but all I remember seeing was the wallabies that roamed the island.

These 5 are caused by a lack of quality in certain education systems and/or plain stupidity. Some people are so stupid that simply looking at a map is beyond them. When flying Singapore to Sydney, the pilot will announce when crossing the Australian coast. This is shortly before the halfway point. There will be several people who will start to get ready for landing, thinking that the coast means near to sydney. My experience is that these are English. I had the pleasure of hearing a 20 year old Australian female tell a similar aged English female: "that we had a full continent to cross yet." This caused some consternation.

Sold my trumper to a uni mate. Caught up with him a year later and asked how it was going. He said he was heading to the Coromandel (peninsula east of Auckland) along narrow winding roads and got splatted by one of the few things that could - a converted Chevy Ambulance!! Trumper probably saved his life.

5:22 the possom came from Australia so did the pukeko so did the white tip spiders so did those noisy birds with the flat yellow faces that fly around in the night making clown noises, new Zealand does have kangaroo's in a certain part of new Zealand a small species of kangaroo and we also have a snake its a water snake that lives in islands off new Zealand still technically part of new Zealand, one misconception about new Zealand is that we can play rugby league 😂
