5 people shot at New Year's Eve celebration in Uptown Charlotte

Police took a person into custody after five people were shot in Uptown just before midnight on New Year's Eve.
The shooting happened around Romare Bearden Park at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. Investigators say a person shot into a crowd, striking five people.
All five people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting, according to CMPD.
Police took a suspect into custody shortly after the shooting.

It was 100% planned. I have inside intel. This was a way for cops to look better. First 3 shots fired and not a single cop moved until they saw me and others were recording. And it was 10:30 to 11pm. It happened multiple times. Let’s see the victims and the one arrested. Mecklenburg has been failing its community bc they don’t show up for murder and domestic violence until it’s too late. I waited for 4 days for cops to arrive after my ex almost killed me. I was jumped at my own pool by strangers and they let the suspects go. I was arrested after the 5th assault from My ex in 2023 for showing too Many tears. Maranda rights not read to me and I was not given a reason as to why I was being arrested until I was half way to the cop car. This is a more Corrupt town than Newark, NJ! I have videos of the first 3 shots fired and cops didn’t do anything! They were telling all the black kids “it’s fireworks.”
