​​​​@@Tom-The-Gymnast they aren't under intense pressure, the routines aren't quite as difficult, the atmosphere is more relaxed, the women aren't afraid of being cut from the Olympics, let's see...they're not afraid of their coaches the way the elites were afraid of the karolyis. Oh and the karolyis also starved them and created an atmosphere of paranoia and fear. It infuriates me when I think of how that stupid couple ruined American gymnastics (and influenced the world) for generations. All that stuff about making them stick thin and forcing retirement at 21 years old. Ridiculous! Women's gymnastics should be like college gymnastics! I'm glad to see it is going in that direction. A lot of gymmasts really got a bad deal because of the karolyis and the toxic mindset in elite gymnastics. They were so awful to katelyn Ohashi, for example...said she was overweight! What crap. She's beautiful and an awesome gymnast.

Since the floor exercises include music, you may want to consider not having different background music playing. It's incredibly distracting. But you picked a great set to highlight!! I love Katelyn Ohashi and watch all her videos.

My gymnast son qualified to be a gymnastics coach at 16 years old. At his high school week days after school, and weekends with 6 and 7 year olds. Those children adored him. I went to see them perform once on a presentation day. He stood waiting on the floor mat. Out they marched in file, their little shoulders back, chests out, their faces beaming at him. And he watched with pride as they did little routines, believing they were all that, because he told them so. Their parents adored my son as much as he did their children. He performed in the Opening Ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympics. It takes a special personality to give so much time and dedication toward building elite skills, confidence, hope, and self belief, in the sporting stars of the future. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

There is such a difference between men and women's floor routines. The women dance in between the big flips but the men just walk to the next corner to do their next flip

Yeah the women focus less on cool tricks and more on presentation, once their presentation is spick, they really smash their tumbling, like simone biles for example

Nope, as ex gymnast these were all exceptional. Simone is amazing, but not graceful, elegant or attractive to watch. Her short height also plays into her ability to do moves that are far more difficult for those taller than her. All that said, Simone is amazing.
