Just stayed at The Caribbean Resorts (had a suite with a kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and a balcony with a great view of the beach - stayed in the towers). My kids would love this place! There’s an indoor kids water play area with a lazy river!, an outdoor pool, lazy river for teens and adults, a pretty good size jacuzzi that was at a great temp not too hot, plenty of seating and a tiki bar with great frozen cocktails. Can’t wait to go back and take the family with me next time!

@@TravelingWithEmMe Check-in day the room wasn't cleaned and ready until 8pm. They compt us a day. However, that put us behind 2 days. Got to the 3 bdrm condo and there was a gooey sticky mess on the dresser drawer in the master. The living room carpet area had a mildew stinch that percolated when opening the room door. They are low staffed with housekeeping, and the ones they have are not so good. I pulled some info from other guests and they had some similar issues and apparently their maintenance is crap as well. Their breakfast buffet tastes like you're staying at a Motel 6. No ice on the floors. Shower door handles broken. Other people and families from other hotels stroll in using the pool facility; so no getting a spot at the pool unless you're up at the crack of dawn. Trash in the pool. The hotel is useless in putting out any important info about the regs on the beach or about the hours of the cafe and restaurant. Restaurant closes at 8:30. They have some scheme deal going at the front with a "Wyndham" rep trying to sell packaged tickets for attractions like Wonder Works, Ripley's, etc. But then after the sales pitch they want your address. I've worked a couple fraud cases and do PI research on the side, and this hotel to me is shady. Definitely not worth the price we paid at all and won't be back here, and not likely back to Myrtle Beach.

This is funny. We were looking at some of our extremely old photos from over 20 years ago. We saw photos of Myrtle and place was really crappy compared to what it is now. LOL. Amazing how much could change in such time. LIKE 13. 👍👍👍👍

We are planning to go back to Myrtle Beach for some fun this year sometime. We were just there for family business but didn't get out to enjoy ourselves. I am especially interested in Ocean Lakes Campground. It looks like it would be awesome to rent a little house there. Guess we will definitely pass on Bermuda Sands. LOL. We have stayed some places we thought would be nice and seemed like it was a good deal and it ended up being horrible. Not a great situation. Catching up on videos we missed during the crush of the holidays. We hope yall are well!

Just a note, The Ocean lakes Campground charges a daily fee just to enter the property. I believe it was around $8 to $10 dollars each day.

I go to the resort right beside ocean lakes and i was the 14th floor and the side i was on you could see all the campers like literally the holl beach it was scary but it was amazing

We did it too our first time in Myrtle Beach with our kids it was 4:00 in the morning never booked anything and this place looked so nice! I was horrified I pretty much didn't sleep all night and I wouldn't let my family take the blankets off the bed oh and there was blood spot on the counters!!!!!! I wonder if this is one of those things that pretty much says you know you're a fan of Myrtle Beach if you've stayed at this place

We stayed at BS last year. Ur right it was awful. We knew what we were getting into with their price being so low. We did get a free show that night from the fight right outside the door. We couldn’t believe how many homeless people stay right outside the property.

Landmark has great pools, especially for kids. There’s a new waterpark too. But it is an older property and not the cleanest. They did make some improvements recently. Definitely read the reviews. There’s a Hampton two blocks down that’s nice. Otherwise I’d look for places NORTH of Family Kingdom.. better options that way.

Don't stay in Camelot on Myrtle Beach. I reserved apartment from airbnb Camelot resort and then I got fake damage claim from thus resort. They said that there was stain on the mattress and charged me 45$ but that stain was before my checking in and I saw it by didn't take a picture unfortunately. To my mind it's special trap against customers to get from them additional money by this way. Airbnb and Camelot resort shame on you.

I live in MB and I wouldn't recommend any hotel on the south end of ocean blvd, meaning anything below 10th ave NORTH, some of the hotels are really nice but the south end is where most of the homeless congregate and where most of the crime is located,

When I usually go to Mytle beach I stay at a Hilton in north Mytle but this time we tried the strand DO NOT STAY THERE it is so dirty hair everywhere breaking elevators breakfast was discussing do not stay there

Oh my goodness yes, bermuda sands, my sister in law came down spur of the moment to vacation with us, we was at bay view, so Bermuda was close and affordable but NASTY! Im talking hair clumps, food, cigarettes, bugs all over the pool area, the hallways had so much trash and towels piled up you couldn't walk through, the elevator barely worked, homeless people sleeping in the breezeway so everytime you go in or out they ask you for money, or to buy something they have made from the trash they pick up. The room was described as having a kitchenette 😂 no it was a mini fridge with a nasty microwave on top outside the bathroom door, I had to go get bleach for my sis to clean up until we could find another place!!! It was beyond nasty, we also found a medical syringe and knife outside in the sand! we go down 2 times a year and my favorite places to stay are bayview resort, camelot, the Carolinian, landmark when I'm looking for a affordable clean place with good location that's family friendly, if it's just my husband and myself I like to get villas or rent a couples getaway kinda place! Love the video and totally agree! Just wanted to share my experience with Bermuda.❤

Omg I got fooled by Bermuda sands too, not many pet friendly places in Myrtle and I went with them. What a nightmare I checked out(no refund)) thank goodness I found Patricia grand, a beautiful place that was pet friendly!

Omg! My mom and I just stayed at the place you warned against staying at and their sewer had exploded in the parking lot, right in front of the pool!!! We didn’t see it at first and there was no way to avoid stepping in it!!! It got all over someone’s white jeep that was parked in a handicap spot! It was so gross and the place wasn’t even trying to clean it up! We told an employee and they tried to call someone but I guess no one cared enough to come out! Oh it was so bad! They won’t even return our calls either but they certainly charged us an extra $50 a few days after we left! I sent the place photos and the staff member could have cared less, acting like stepping in sewage wasn’t a big deal! Terrible place 🤮🤮🤮

I stayed at Bermuda Sands back in 2016 and it was amazing. Then we went back in 2019 and it was disgusting. I’ve never seen a place to that downhill that quickly. 100% echo the Crown Reef love. I’ve stayed there more times than anywhere else at this point.

My daughter was getting married and so my other daughter and I treated her to Myrtle Beach. We stayed at The Crown Reef . I didn't like the way check in was across the street. Also we got stuck in the elevator. Other elevators shook .

Maaan…I wish I would’ve seen this video a week ago…just had the worst experience with Bermuda Sands, Holes in the doors, 1980’s furniture, mildew smells, roaches, beds that came out of the walls, I literally stayed there 3, maybe 4 hours and went down to North Myrtle Beach and found a nice room…once I told them about the roach they refunded me my money…stay away from that place!!!!
