The only rationale i can see regarding L. Cine is that he played on sheer natural talent in college and is now exposed as lazy and uninspired to make it in the NFL. Same can be said for Booth Jr.

@@johnswanson3741Booth was one of the best press-man corners in college football. When he was drafted by Minnesota he was thrown into a pure zone coverage scheme. No one has ever played more zone and less man than the 2022 Minnesota Vikings. When he was switched back to a press outside leverage last year his numbers suggested he was start caliber for many teams in the NFL. He works hard in practice and all off-season, that narrative is poor and lazy and a dog on the character of someone that just isn’t true.

Cut Cine cap hit just under 4 mil. Plus what replacement player cost. See if he can make special team player. Booth only 400k hit. Hall-need arm for camp. That’s the reason you keep him for training camp.

Long time Vikings fan. Bradberry I still have him getting forklifted in my EYES ... we have had A running backs on our team. Some c+ but ok players. We need A OL to move DL man back and get the first win

I think Jaren Hall might have more upside potential than Chris Mullens, who got some experience before coming to the Vikings. Hall hasn't really gotten a fair shake. I'd cut Mullens, keep Hall. And Bradbury should be cut, he's terrible.

Wow, definitely one of your better takes, though few and far between. We know what Mullens is, a veteran mini Brett Favre who will put up losing numbers. He might throw four touchdowns, but he is likely to turn it over 4 times in the process. I woulr still prefer Mullens over hall personally though. Hall has no arm, he is a one read QB, the middle and deep accuracy is poor, and he isn’t someone that will win you games.

They havent played a snap in preseason NFl and wanting to make cuts already? What about how they did competition with Kicker and punter the last two years they went 1 or 2 preseason games before they cut the other player and they basically won the job.

No one. What a shitty and stupid show idea. An actual fan, yes an actual Minnesota Viking fan, would be hoping all of those players turn a corner and succeed. And what a terrible list. Remember 3 years ago when KJ Osborn was the first name on people's cut list? Just let everybody work. At the top of my cut list - Lupagus show...

@@robe2504 There is NO comparing Booth and Evans play last year... Evans played 85% of the defensive snaps and Booth 13%. If Booth played that many snaps and other teams had film on him, he would have been off the charts bad. Also I said to trade Booth and get some kind of return for him.

@@tkuebler9561 You are very definite about your opinions, especially for someone who has never seen the inside of the Vikes training complex. It is a classic failing to assume that because something happens, Booth plays more snaps, that he must play worse. He could play just as well, or also improve. It is a reflection of your opinion only, that with more film, he must play worse. If playing worse is a definite consequence of teams having more film then players like Darrisaw, and Addison should be high on your trade list. You see how bad your argument sounds when applied equally to another example. There is no need to panic. Over the next 2 months Flores will decide which players on the roster are best suited to his defence, and right now you have nfi, irrespective of your protestations.

Absolutely bizarre that a first round safety could never even crack the top 5 at his position on the roster. Biggest bust I’ve ever seen in football.

The biggest bust was hiring a GM who knows nothing about football and has no common sense. At least management seems to have realized this and are directing him along with a group decision-making approach now!

I think trade options should be explored for Nick Mullens. Maybe we can get a 5th round pick or sumthin. Keep Hall for a developmental QB. Maybe he can be a long-term backup.

If they release Jaren Hall and anyone gets hurt, they will regret it. Or if Hall looks OK, they could trade a QB.

You don’t just cut a K this early. As Vikings fans we have suffered enough from the K position. You make Will go through the pressure of the battle because at this time of year it’s the only way to simulate any pressure at all for a K. There should be two kickers in EVERY camp until closer to the end. Lewis Cine had a career altering injury. I think he deserves this last year to have a chance to get past would could easily just be his own doubt in his legs after a freak injury. You don’t just give up after a couple years. People need to stop with this “inmediate return” issue we have with 1st rounders. Nick you don’t cut period. He’s a top 10-12 backup on any team and we and SF know how important a backup is. If you cut a QB it’s Hall Booth you finally got one right. Congrats. Ryan Wright is the exact same concept as the K position. You’ve got to simulate pressure in some way for these special teamers. Pump in crowd noise. Bet on the kicks. Make it a competition.

Do Vikings not have the time or room to let Hall develop like Browning went from Vikings to Bengals elevation of his play? Hall works pretty hard and takes time to learn the playbook are two votes to keep him to stay but the votes to not make team could be the talent on the team if they have luxury or not to keep him at QB . Of course he could play good in preseason is another possibility so it remains to be seen how they approach this position but i think they dont do this lightly because it is a lot of time for QB to learn playbook and injuries do happen.
