Thank you~ Sadly most of these are closed down during the pandemic 🥺 Some of my current faves in Taipei are: Fruitful Food (Vegetarian buffet) Yiihotang (vegan bakery) Vege Creek (braised noodle soup) 啼岸VeganResort (Vegan hair salon that serves a few local Taiwanese food) 植日生手作蔬食 (casual vegan japanese fusion)

I did look some up on google maps and saw they were still in business but OMG thank you on the suggestion for vegan Beef noodle soup! I was hoping someone would have a vegan version of that 😍 also is it safe to say all scallion pancakes are vegan ?

Im really missing it out there right now. I was supposed to go twice this year! Anyway, Thanks for another great upload. Im not sure if you had it in any of your other videos but Id like to know some good places where I can get boba tea in Taipei. I spent nearly 2 weeks trying to find a place that made it non-dairy until I finally found a place near 中正區. I definitely want to try out the hot pot place because I did not eat any hot pot when I was there. 謝謝妳我們等下個視頻 :)

Thanks for watching! yesss for boba milk tea my favorite is NUTTEA 堅果奶蓋 (100% vegan). They used nut based mylk. I mostly get my boba from there. Another chain I've tried is called 迷可夏 Milkshop, though they're known for using fresh cow milk 😅 They do have soy milk option. They have a lot of branches in Taipei, It's easier to find if you're craving for boba on the spot.

I looking forward to visiting Taiwan later this year. I do have one concern. There are lots of Taiwanese "vegan" products that are not 100% vegan. They may contain whey, egg white, and even milk or lactose ingredients which is suitable for vegetarians. For some reason, vegan is collapsed into vegetarianism. How do you distinguish what is actually vegan or not?

hmm it's mostly written in Chinese, "蛋奶素" (lacto-ovo vegetarian) "全素“/ ”純素“ (vegan)

These restaurants are definitely not the best, by far! The TV shows don't know what they're saying. I wouldn't recommend relying on TV shows, and even review websites are not entirely reliable for some restaurants, like the ones that are not even on the map or too recent. I can think of at least a dozen restaurants in all price ranges that are way better.
