ELF Poreless Primer Putty is fantastic! Also, as much as I do not like the Goop brand, their Unseen Sunscreen is really great as a primer and sunscreen in one. Something else that works great is using The Porefessional primer spray! I like to use Urban Decay All-Nighter after skincare and primer, then do the rest of my face and finish with the Porefessional Spray. The UD spray locks your makeup down and the PF makes everything smooth and pores disappear!

@whoathatsanicememe3093 Жыл бұрын
The best drugstore I've found for fine lines and wrinkles is the L'Oreal magic secret primer. It comes in a little pot. It can be difficult to find unfortunately but I usually get mine from Walmart or CVS. One thing to mention is not to use a large amount. I use a concealer brush and lightly, like just barely get a little on the brush and then pat/stipple it into my more prominent wrinkles. It's not magic of course but it does help makeup lie better over the top. I know some people don't like this primer and I think it's because they are using way to much. Another thing is to just try any pore primer you have this way with a brush. Just remember to use a patting/stippling motion and not a swiping motion. And use a very small amount. I've also heard good things about the Cali Ray primer for wrinkles too.

Using retinoids family like tretinoin ./05 , retinol , retin a ...will definitely reduce pores . using antioxidant like vitamin C can also help a lot. some clinical treatments like microdermabrasion or some lasers reduce pores as well . and these are not bloggers hack these are scientifically proven and recommended by dermatologists. and also regular use of silicon based primers may enlarge pore size so I would invest in the skin care first and keep primers for special occasions Xx

I wanted to buy one of these pore blurring products as my pores have definitely got bigger after 3 years of wearing facemasks😢 but i noticed the first ingredients are usually silicones- exactly what youre told to stay away from if you dont want blocked pores!
@onewhisper22005 Жыл бұрын
Silicones are fine as long as you wash your face really well after using them. Some people believe silicones cause breakouts - clogging pores, creating an environment that leads to breakouts and worsen acne. However, dimethicone (one of the most common silicones used) is classified as non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic, meaning it doesn’t clog pores or worsen acne. The idea that silicones are bad for clogged pores may come from the fact that they’re occlusive. IF silicones aren’t properly cleansed from the skin, it’s possible to trap sweat, bacteria, dead skin cells, etc. between the skin and silicone-containing product, potentially causing congestion. I believe that’s why people feel silicones are irritating to those with sensitive skin, clog pores, and worsen acne. Silicones are hydrophobic so they repel water, which makes them really hard to wash off! If products with silicones are used and the skin isn’t cleansed properly, that occlusive layer remains on the skin, leaving pores to become clogged and breakouts to worsen. When using products with silicones, it’s really important to make sure to cleanse your face really well to remove that occlusive layer it forms. I always double cleanse - use a oil/balm cleanser to melt away the makeup, rinse that off, then go in with a regular cleanser to wash my face. I do get acne and haven’t ever had increased breakouts from using silicone products. So just be sure to wash your face really well if you used silicones and it shouldn’t be an issue.
