I absolutely love that you made this video and you actually brought light to the rimmell powder so that just regular girls can see that buying a powder like this at a drugstore totally really does work and there's nothing wrong with it. I keep seeing video after video of people saying that the only powder that works is the $60 powder you buy at Ulta and I've been using rimmell powder forever and it definitely is a game changer it is

me too! my nose is covered in sebaceous filaments but when I cover them with foundation, no matter which brand I use, it sticks to any dry bits on my nose and chin and makes it look like I've super dry skin! I've tried all kinds of primers too!

have you tried nose strips? Also I use korean peeling gels. You just rub it on your skin and you can literally see all the dirt and stuff come off and ball up

Try exfoliating with coffee grinds. You can use fresh grinds or the one you used for your morning coffee. Take enough to cover your face and put it in a cup, then add honey. You can even add apple cider vinegar. Mix it up, then rub it onto your face, but focus more on the dry spots. Rinse it off, then moisturize.

Good video but your pores are not that large. I wish I had pores the size of yours! It's much harder to cover pores that are bigger than those. That's what I struggle with. I like to watch these kinda of videos to see what else I can do it help hide them.
@mandielou6 жыл бұрын
I heard put your lotion or your primer on and use loose setting powder let that set and dryand then put your foundation on with a blender sponge blotting only and then using setting powder after. you can even go in again another time with the blender and more foundation. Or there's this technique to put your foundation on with a damp blender sponge. Just blot it do not rub... Look that one up.

First of all, enlarged pores DO NOT only occur with oily skin. I have large pores on my cheeks, and my skin is extremely DRY. Also, no pore-filling primer I have tried works to help my foundation not settle into my pores.

You said u hope we learned something new from your video--and i DID, Ahaha!🤗 you see i didnt even MAKE IT to the setting powder multiple times because i saw that after i applied the liquid foundation my pores looked even MORE HUGE!!!! And thus i was usually mortified, cleaned off my face ASAP, and thought “forget makeup! It makes my pores look even WORSE!” BUT, youve made me realize that its normal for them to look worse until it dries and u put setting powder on top ahaha😂so A HUGE THANKU FOR THAT! Also I loved the fact that you were listening to Mulan lol that was hilarious😂 oh, and can’t forget you also taught me not to brush the setting powder across the top because it will exacerbate the pores and yes I just realized that myself lol like as we are speaking ahahaha😅 I subscribed! Thank you again!❤

I will also try powder foundation with your setting powder technique, I very rarely use it because you can see my pores not in a nice way.

I know this was a long time ago but how do you get your skin to look so smooth?! I have combination skin with larger pores, I get hormonal acne, and my skin is super sensitive. I use the Urban Decay Optical Illusions Primer, sometimes the POREfessional, and the Too Faced Born His Way Foundation with a sponge. I also shave my entire face to get rid of peach fuzz but it still looks unsmooth and I don’t know what to do! Yours looks soooo smooth and I can tell you don’t use a filter in your videos.

Alucard Peach Same here! I'm 27 but I didn't really get into skin care until a few years ago. By the way, a good dupe that worked for me was the ELF powder. It used to be called priming powder but I think they changed the name. It's a pressed translucent powder.
