It's a cool knife, but it wouldn't survive the test. The steel isn't very strong, although the size and weight would add some strength. I definitely want one, but it wouldn't he for real bushcraft, more for just being cool as hell lol. I do have an Australian machete, it's about 4.2 4.3 pounds give or take, and I have a hell of time with it, and so do my teenage boys lol. Some knives are just for fun and the cool factor , knife lovers don't always need the best steel or name brands, some just have to be bad ass. I can pull out my spider co knives and my cheaper big boys and every time the teens and younger men always choose the bad ass chopper lol.

If you liked this knife, you might have fun with the Mutiny or Pensioner from Khailash blades in Nepal! They are probably the best kukri maker in Nepal, and have anazing geometry that cuts deep. I have a 13" scourge Anniversary from them with in house made Micarta scales because the import cost us too high, kydex sheath, with the standard grind. If I could go back I would make that a performance grind and get the Mutiny. That being said, it was worth every penny, and then some and Andrew and Bisnu were great to work with! Edge retention is great, bites nice and deep, and is fully hardened with an oil quench instead of the more traditional teapot method. They also are a decent bit thinner than other kukris because of that, but as said, they have amazing geometry. I love me some good kukris! On another note, keep up the great work! That knife has a pretty great edge geometry! Sincerely, JS

@@toothlessblack8195 I just like me a good kukri because I found they are probably one of the best all round utility tools around, and are great for fighting as well. I spent a good while(year plus) obsessively researching weapons, trying to find one that had great versatility as both weapon and utility tool, and a proven track record. Kukris just happened to fit the bill, and just to be perfectly clear, when I say obsessively researching, I mean digging through reviews, all the different forums whether bushcrafting, Blade Forums, etc. and especially when I had decided that kukris were the way to go. After all my research, I am fairly confident in saying they are on par with the quality of Tora blades or Great Ghurka Kukri house, which are the best kukri makers in Nepal, but Khalish does some stuff better, and they have a lot more versatility in their designs and have the kydex option for all their stuff, as well Micarta handles, and are more than willing to do custom orders. My only affiliation with them has been buying their kukris with my own money, and talking to Bisnu and Andrew to confirm order stuff, and to get some custom stuff done I also went and grilled them on which of the kukris was the best cutter and would be the best as a all day chopper. I have just enjoyed their stuff, and thought I might recommend them, as they were great to work with, their stuff is very reasonably priced for the quality of work they do, and I have found my kukri from them to be a lot of fun to use and keeps an excellent edge through extended chopping. So yes, in short I am recommending their Kukris as a solid option to get a great tool that will last a very long time, and that will be a joy to use! I have not regretted spending the $400+ I did for my entirely custom setup all in Micarta and kydex with a custom in house desert camo Micarta design. I managed to get 4 tools with that that were exactly to my specifications that have performed well in the tasks I have needed them to. They earned my business, and I can solidly recommend them! Sincerely, JS
