If you could pick one blade and one blade only and you are in need of a blade for the outdoors, you'll probably choose something that is able to perform at every aspect of your daily tasks. Starting a fire, food processing, clearing brushes, hunting, defending yourself and so on. It won't outperform a knife that's made specifically for a certain task but it will get the job done. Of course this is not an EDC knife, this is not a blade you want to carry around town, this is a serious tool for hard use and it's definitely a really cool piece. What I love about WTH is that their blades are reasonably priced, while being abolutely top notch quality.

When a knife gets big like this, the balance becomes so important. Right up there with a comfortable handle. Doesn't matter how sharp it is if you can't hold it and wield it. This one clearly handles so well for a big boy!

I honestly LOVE this one ! The no choil worried me until I used it . In the truth is they give you enough handle that you have plenty of control and really don't need the choil.. the balance is spot on

Work Tuff Wednesday. I'm catching up on your vids I've been dry-locking a 2000 SF basement for Hobbits It's 4ft tall and I'm 6.3 so got home last night and headed out to the kitchen to make coffee at 3 this morning and still walking like I'm 4ft tall hope I grow as the day goes on lol. Great knife and so true you can get stuck in the wood without planning on it. Been there done that got the tee shirt and I wasn't fully prepared and learned the hard way (I did have a knife). I always carry a small daypack now if I go out and am ready to spend a couple days out there if something happens. Have a good day Brother.
