Kombucha is a great probiotic fermented drink. I have severe histamine intolerance and took a-lot of antihistamines all day long and I was chronically congested. As soon as I started 👩‍⚕️ drinking Kombucha my congestion started diminishing. I learned this from an MD and I didn’t believe her but I tried it. I am breathing so much better now and able to reduce my antihistamines! 🎉🎉

I can't believe Dr will said this about spices and coffee! Every single morning without fail~and I'm typing this without knowing what spices he's going to say~I put in eight shakes of organic turmeric, two shakes of nutmeg (it's delicious, and I live in the nutmeg state!) 8 shakes of organic powdered Ginger, eight shakes of Ceylon cinnamon also organic, a tiny pinch of black pepper to activate the turmeric better, sometimes I add a bit of organic stevia, or date syrup, and sometimes a couple of small squares of dark vegan chocolate. I hope I've gotten it right all this time cuz I've been doing this for about 7 years! By the way you can also give this to kids in plant milk, obviously lesser amounts of the spices and it's delicious warmed. Also great as a bedtime drink for grown ups, yummy! Oh my gosh! I got it right! But to be fair, I didn't make this up on my own although I've been doing cinnamon for a long time. No I got this proprietary blend from Dr Sanjay Gupta, again years ago! Thanks Doc!

This past weekend I met a 74 year old vegan ice climbing in Rocky Mountain National Park. My husband and I are in our 50’s been WFPB now for 7 years and meeting a 74 year old still so active is so inspirational to us. Looking forward to being just as active as we grow older. Thank you to everyone in the WFPB community sharing health related research so so grateful I was fortunate enough to have stumbled onto this health journey. I’m constantly sharing information with those not as fortunate hoping to improve their health. It’s heartbreaking to see people suffering from health issues that if only they made some dietary changes might feel better.

New subscriber here and I found your channel right when I needed it. Vegan for 6 years but vegan for the animals and was eating all the yummy processed food. Just got bloodwork done and it went from 5 years of perfect to a mess! High triglycerides, low iron, low D and B12, gained 15lbs, hypothyroidism and high cholesterol, WTF!!!. I’m cleaning up my act! I have eaten all of these foods you are talking about for the past few weeks and drinking some ACV everyday. I’m feeling better already. Got better quality supplements and I’m cutting out the sugar and staying away from Trader Joe’s. Wish me luck, I love Trader Joe’s!

Dry grind them altogether n store in bottle for year outside . No need to refrigerate as all r dry ingredients. Hope this helps. Great for morning brew

Great episode! This podcast is appointment listening for me. Loving the New Year series. Question for Dr. B: I started adding a turmeric, ginger & cinnamon blend to my coffee. In a very short time, I have noticed a reduction in my joint pain. I made this equal parts of each. Is that correct? Second question - what is the optimal dose? I am doing a teaspoon daily . I am tolerating it well. Is this too little, too much?

I do pro life outreach against abortion. I met a group of doctors having a barbecue in a big park. They were horrified at the photo I showed them of an aborted baby. I asked one person who identified as a colon cancer surgeon. I asked him what I should eat to reduce the risk of cancer. He told me to walk often. I insisted on a few guidelines on the best food to eat. He was emphatic, ‘WALK !’ So it’s not just what you eat, it’s more important to walk vigorously .

Kia ora, greetings from Levin, New Zealand. Market garden central. Kiwifruit are yum but come from other districts. We have a lot of berries, stone fruit and vegetables of all types and Feijoas, a fruit only in N.Z.

I enjoy all your presentations. Thanks for responding to my question today. it was just a thought as I live in Florida and have a few paw paw trees and have been saving some of the seeds and I know the leaves are edible so I thought maybe I could grow some and eat them as microgreens. Pam

I learned from Dr. Michael Greger that sulfurofane found in broccoli helps autism. I have aspergers syndrome so I'm on the Autism spectrum. Sometimes it feels like I'm trapped in my brain. I love parts of my autism but the truth is I also suffer a lot. I notice since I've started a whole food plant based diet my ability to get unstuck from my brain or become less autistic (functioning better socially) has improved soooo much. I am so so grateful I found this diet. Thank you for doing this show, Chuck.

I have been following Dr.B 100% on his FGOALS advice ever since I read his FF book. I still have difficulties getting good Sauerkraut here in Australia. I am not too keen to make my own. Any suggestions?
