Black only needs 5 moves to promote (well, 6, but 1 comes with a forced response that doesn't let you progress), but you can force them to spend moves on their king too, and are a lot more likely to promote with check. It doesn't surprise me too much that there's a winning line for black, but I don't know how high of a rating before people start reliably finding it in quick time controls.

At first when you said Kb3 was wrong, I was like, no. Because you can use the king to guard the pawns, push them and put his king in check creating tempo. But at the end of the video, I learned how strong these 2 pawns really are. Thank you for a great lesson. My game has improved.

I have a memorable game from not long ago. I had two isolated pawns (neither was a passed pawn) Vs opponents 5 pawns. They didn't know any of these rules so I just played solid as I could and they blundered one move, I won a Queen promotion by one move and then could fork check and their advanced pawn. One I captured, they resigned. At 1100 elo I never resign for this reason.

Congratulations Nelson!! The way you are teaching us is very good. I would play 9. Kg7 couse I think it's wining move too, but with 9. c4 I see one new motive for me. Immediately upon seeing the a-passer I'd assume it had to do with the unstoppable pawns. Interestingly, connected passers or with a file inbetween cannot advance without help. So if both colors have them or the side with them has a confined king, it's a draw.

It also appears that 1. Kc1 would win the game, because White can still get over to the kingside. 8:49 Whenever Black pushes the h-pawn, White has to move the king closer to it. But when Black moves the king, White is free to do something else. (It's like White is playing a "sum" of two games.)

If at the start, the opponent did move their bishop to A1, because that would have made you take the king further away from the black pawns to make the trade, would that have changed the game's outcome?

If I understand correctly, you're saying what if the first two moves are 1. Kc2 Ba1? In that case, white doesn't actually have to hunt down the black's bishop right away (like Nelson suggested), because the bishop is already trapped by the white king and the pawn on c3! So White can just save his knight with his 2nd move, and win by snagging all black's pawns (or hunting down the bishop with the knight first).

I have a challenge for you, his name is Kings Mountain, here are the rules: you have to get to the last square with the king, but if you are checked by the last three squares then you have lost. you are not allowed to promote any pawns or you are not allowed to allow your opponent to promote a pawn. If there are only three of the stronger pieces left then you are not allowed to kill any of them except pawns. Pawns from your opponents or from you can always be killed. (difficult version: if you are checked on the last five squares you have lost. If there are only five stronger pieces left with your opponents, you are not allowed to kill any more. You are not allowed to promote your pawn And don't let your opponent do that either. If you only have three stronger pieces left, none of them can be killed or you'll lose.) good luck

You had a win from the start it looks like.. Why not Nd4+ from the beginning? It’s then defended, king has to move, so you can Kc2. Forces Ba1 or they lose it. Then Nb3 threatens bishop and will win it one way or another on the next move.

The solution is completely wrong. If black did not push the pawn to f4, but moved king to c4, then white is out of trick. If white continue the process in the above, then either black will be able to take both white's a and c pawn, or promote h file pawn.
