Same, turning 28 soon, and I just focused on ministry, family, and education. I started dating in my hometown right after finishing college, and met some interesting people that weren't from my religion. I moved, and am surrounded by 'my own kind' now, but I want someone who loves (and does) international mission work. Who knows. I guess I'll have to settle, or my dreams and ideals will overwhelm me. I have to learn to be realistic, according to my family. I started praying for this person in 2006. Thought he came in 2008 (VERY sad, horrible, clearly not). And essentially have been single since then. Sorta kinda dated here and there but barely, nothing i'd consider serious. Dear Jesus, God, and Holy Spirit, please bless my life with a beautiful Godly man that posseses the leadership and godly aspects as stated in 1 Timothy 3. If he is lacking in any regard within those characteristics, please gracefully guide him to mold into that beautiful man. Please also shape me into the woman professed in Proverbs 31, to correct me and mold me into your tender grace of what a godly woman and wife should be. Please bless us both with deep discernment when it comes to any relationships that may hinder our union as well as relationships that should not be progressed with others that are not suited for us so our godly union happens with efficiency and grace. Holy Spirit, please make any additions and/or modifications to this prayer as well as pray for us both so it is aligned with God's will and pleasing to God's heart so to bless my future husband and i best in every way God knows is best. As I was roaming, finding the meaning of life and whether romance is needed, I found your videos. Much needed since I finally sees the emotion I never knew I could have. But I do thank God for saving me from a toxic one-day relationship. I pray hard that He protects me from evil plans and to reveal whether the man I am going to meet was going to be my one. Pray for discernment and general guidelines: need to be Christian and hearing fruits , ready the biblical rule as a husband. have the ability to see a good candidate. Pray the word of Proverbs 31 and 1 Timothy 3 and pray those qualities. Read Galatians 5 . Romans 8:26-27

Some of the prayers you had mentioned for praying for a future spouse is exactly what I've been doing. Basically I've been asking God to prepare my future wife to meet me and that the Lord would be helping her in all areas in her life whether it be physically, mentally or spiritually to be ready for me. Hi, i have a question for you to think about. (You do not have to reply back). If God clearly stated that he created one man for one woman (Genesis 2:24, 1 Corinthians 7:2), gave specific roles for a husband and wife in a marriage (Ephesians 5:22-33), and gave the men and women who partook in shameful acts with people of the same gender, over to their desires, (Romans 1:24-27), why do you think God's favor will be on you if you marry another person of the same gender?

I honestly don't know if I am a Proverbs 31 woman. She did so much. My tongue is not always kind. Praying on that. I don't know. She has set a very high standard for us to follow. Praying about that. Striving to be what and who God has called me to be. That's about all I can really do. Idk..... Will continue to pray and fast that God's will will be done in my life. Whatever he has for me to do, I will to the best of my ability with the help of the Lord. That's all I know how to do! I can't do anything else.....

I don't know, I think we will always have character issues like I am not too sold on that about using that waiting time to be the "perfect wife" people are not perfect .....It may take ages to get to that sweet spot ...Also for what I hear Pastors also have issues with their spouses and they work on their problems together .... Mark. The only time God has said anything to me about relations was in a dream once where He showed me my lifestyle that needed change. For the first time I saw how sin looked. It is alive and black. It was moving towards this beautiful white bluish light which I took to be Jesus. The messenger told me it was sin. Then I knew the sin was trying to take over the light that was/in me. Then the messenger looked at me and said, "Sarah. you are a holy woman and God does not want you doing these things". Then God sent me another dream where He showed me that He was going to clean up my life and thankfully He did. God always warn me about a guy before I get involved. I didn't always listen but I learned the hard way its best to listen to God. After all this He never says anything about sending me a husband. He stays silent on the subject for some reason. And I know He hears me bc God has given me an extra blessing of not just sensing His Spirit but being able to see Him. He lives not just in me but in this apartment we share. I enjoy our conversations and communications. I love to sing to God. He has given me beautiful songs to sing to Him. But just that one thing I have always longed for.... Anyway thanks for the prayer vid.May the Good Lord continue to bless you and keep you.💝
