When you say he's playing the b5 over the IV, are you talking about the b5 of the I (F) or the b5 of the IV (C)?

Good question. In the vid I mean he's playing the b5 of the IV chord. The IV chord is Em and the IV of this is Bb. The b5 of the I chord (Bm) is the F as you say. That make sense? You could also just play Bm pentatonic over the whole progression and use the b5 of Bm wherever you like. That's another option.

Good question Gra! I'm just going through my AxeFxIII to get my recorded sounds. I love my valves amps live but always use the Axe to record with as it's so easy to great sounds from.
