name a custom design blank but make it like entirely red... then place it everywhere where you want your blank tiles to be.. then go back to the custom designs app, to your blank tile, change design and make it actually blank.. If you wanna keep working on this a couple months later and you forgot where your blank tiles are, change the color back to red

Hi there, fairly new to animal crossings new horizons. I have noticed that items that I have placed outside my home are now disappearing, such as my ring toss, and my clacker cart. The gates are not open to the airport and I don't let anybody in. do some villagers take your things? I just had new villagers move in.

Your villagers don't take items you've placed outside. Have you used the island cleanup feature in the island designer app? That will remove all your items and move them into the recycling bin in resident services. I suggest you check there!

Only people living on the island can place and take items (this means your account or any other account, not villagers or npcs), so even if your gates were open, nobody could've taken your things. Other reasons for items disappearing might be: island cleanup feature, bridges/inclines or other buildings being placed on top or too close, or you left the game without saving or while it was saving. How exactly did these things disappear? Did you just open the game and suddenly they were gone (this would hint to not having saved the game)?

Unless you're actively and vigorously grinding like these youtube/instagram/pinterest people, having a decent looking island takes 200+ hours. It involves planning, cleaning up and grinding for resources and items
