5 problems KBFC should solve after draw with Odisha | ഹോമം വേണോ? 😳

Kerala Blasters squandered a two-goal lead as they were held to a draw at the Kalinga Stadium by Odisha FC. Mikael Stahre's men raced to a 2-0 lead by the 21st minute, thanks to goals from Noah Sadaoui and Jesus Jimenez.
However, KBFC ended up conceding twice before the half-time interval after Sachin Suresh's mistake resulted in an own goal from Alexandre Coeff. Shortly thereafter, Diego Mauricio put the hosts on level terms with a neat finish.
Blasters were denied a clear penalty in the final minutes of the game. Despite protest from Noah, referee refused to give the spot-kick in favour of KBFC. The result now means the Blasters enter the international break with just one win in four games so far this season.
Understandably, KBFC fans will be expecting a lot more from the team when they return to action against Mohammedan Sporting on October 20th. But the team has plenty of work to do during the break, if they are to improve the results.

I think coach can integrate luna to the squad..no coach wouldn't want a player like luna in the squad. I think the player going to be sacrificed is milos. Coeff could play as a defender with ball distribution duties. We got creative players such as vibin and Azhar in the squad who can send the ball forward. So coeff just needs to support them. And I am fairly confident in a full Indian defense because pritam is in peak form. He can command that defence line even if coeff has to roam a forward a bit. Plus playing Noah luna and Jesus in the front we can create scary rotations. Jesus is a perfect false9. Vibin,Azhar,aimen,luna,Noah,Jesus coeff.....that's a scary amount of creativity. And all these players I mentioned can play together at a time.(I cant see why Azhar and aimen are not starting every game).I am a 'Rahul beliver' but even though his performance has slightly improved pressure is definitely on him. Eventhough I like to seem him perform it's necessary we give thoughts on other starting options. We still have the new RW signing (can't remember his name). A lot of belief in the coach.

It's high time we analyze our team structure and strategy for team building. Bengaluru FC is known for having some of the best youth facilities and youth teams, but even then, a player from their youth setup has to perform exceptionally well to break into the first team. This is because their main squad is already packed with Indian internationals in key positions. The more experienced your main team is, the fewer mistakes they make during critical moments and under pressure, which leads to fewer individual errors. Now, looking at Kerala Blasters FC, we've produced a lot of players from our reserve team, but they are still young and will definitely improve game by game. However, with youth comes mistakes, and these individual errors are a major reason why we couldn't win the shield title-we keep dropping points. I feel like we're rushing our youngsters to perform beyond what's expected of them at this stage, which only adds more pressure on them. Another concern is whether we can retain these players once they reach maturity and become regulars in the national team. Take Jeakson and Sahal, for instance-two players we developed who are now key national team members. When they reach their prime, will we be able to keep them? I support trusting our youth team and giving them opportunities, but at the same time, we need to ensure we can retain them when they reach their full potential. Otherwise, we risk becoming just a feeder club. I would like to here your view on this

I agree with you. We’re very thin on quality Indian players in key positions. Almost all the players we have are ‘future’ prospects. We need proper Indian campaigners to build a winning mentality in this league. All the big clubs have better Indian contingent than us. And the way this league is structured, almost every club is a feeder club to the Kolkata giants and Mumbai City. That’s the unfortunate reality we live in. It can only change if we start winning something in my opinion
