Love the Airplane noise as an aviation enthusiast. Fun fact it will only get noisy if the planes are using 17L or 17R. They approach from the north to the south.

If u are a 25 year in Calgary there many in Airdrie u are a endangered species there not enough of us and a lot things for people my age to do in Calgary there a lot for 4 years I wish I live in Calgary and yes I met some people and friends here but I made more in Calgary and almost live there

Fair enough! If you’re talking about nightlife for the young adult crowd, yes you’ll definitely find more of that in Calgary than in Airdrie!

Airdrie doesn't enforce their laws. Full of pushy drivers and extreme speeding everywhere, including residential areas. Careful if you have children and or pets. They also removed the Radar, so as to insure there won't be any safe driving there. I finally moved to another small city with regulations that stick.

Interesting I haven’t seen too much issue with speeders. No more than other towns/cities that I’ve noticed. The 30km/h residential speed limit I’ve found keeps cars moving at a safe speed here in Airdrie. Of course, there will always be the ones that pay no mind to safety and drive faster. @@brad.walker.airdrie.realtor Well I suppose any disagreement regarding Airdrie's traffic (safety + noise) in Airdrie, won't be truthfully acknowledged by any realtor. Everyday for the last 20 years of Airdrie's growth, the 30 km/h residential speed has become well beyond 60 +. Recently. school buses are now speeding through the residential area, taking short cuts instead of the main streets. This includes the obnoxious floor rattling mufflers in neighborhoods, that city council and RCMP refuse to acknowledge through complaints. It's totally ignored for years. I guess they don't want to ruffle those intending to move to Airdrie.

Yes we have public transit. There’s a bus few routes throughout the city of Airdrie, and then a couple bus routes that go to downtown calgary from Airdrie. It’s not a very extensive public transit system, but will hopefully become more robust a Airdrie continues to grow.

I disagree with pro #3 end to end in this city is terrible no of the lights are in sync It can be a hit and miss anywhere from a 10 min drive or 30 min drive one one depending on lights

Definitely during rush hour on Yankee it can take half hour end to end!
