Heath may not have been a battler, but he could have been a runner as in he got the hell out of there as quickly as possible.

With Cyclizar, that makes sooo much sense! And what adventurer writes about running away from danger? Makes sense that Heath would leave that part out.

I think it's more likely that Heath did meet Terapagos alone, it just wasn't going berserk. I don't think he needed to subdue it, we only had to because Keiran made it terastalize while it was already tired from losing a battle so it lost control

Re: titans and herba mystica, it's probably about how much and how long they've been eating it. Titan pokemon probably grew up eating it so it affects them more deeply

Sorry I hope I'm not being annoying by hammering this down so much but I kept sussing Porygon was another case like this and I went and looked its move "conversion" up and yeah, it totally checks out Also Conversion2, Tri-attack and Reflect Type are all normal moves of "possibilities" Looking at this, I am glad they went with Normal type for Terapagos, it was the best fit!

That was an excellent summation, especially on Terapagos being the Normal-type. Appreciate your enthusiasm and dedication to these videos :) I like the concept that another facet of Orgepon and Terapagos being drawn to the player is in part due to Koraidon/Miraidon's influence, intrigued by the power of the paradox king.

My interpretation of the titans and their eating Herba Mystica is that it only turns them into titans after eating large quantities of the stuff. In Area Zero, where it's more common, they'd slowly eat bits of it as part of their normal diet, but not as their main dish (it's used as a SPICE on sandwiches, not the main course! It's not really a food). However, on the surface, the pre-titan pokemon started to horde the stuff in their lairs due to its rarity, keeping it all to themselves as they ate nothing but the herbs, and eventually became titans.

I actually thought the possibility of Terapagos being normal & psychic type because of how it's terastallization crown looked like design wise. Got very excited when it was confirmed to be normal type! I feel normal types are a bit underrated, when they got very cool designs and a very versatile move pools. Very cool video!

Loved the explanation for normal type! Also, would make sense for Heath to either steel full or partial credit; seems a lot of explores or just any discoverers have done this

I feel like Herba Mystica just don’t grow in the upper parts of Area Zero, but does in the lower parts because of the simple fact Tera Crystals don’t seem to be heavily present until the caves. It explains why they saw a Titan Gible, hey live there for the most part. The hint that really shows us how Herba Mystica grows, is the Crystal Tree in the Underdepths. It’s a mass of Tera Crystals, and it seems to sprout out of the tree directly from the crystal itself. Until Tera Crystals began spreading beyond Area Zero, Heath noted they had trouble growing Herba Mystica and what little did was stolen away, and this also explains why we find them so easily in Tera Dens, as they are overgrown with these same crystals. Perhaps what little grew in Paldea in Heath’s time was fostered by the Tera Energy spreading outwards and eventually allowed Titans to start appearing as the Herba Mystica began to grow with the nutrients they were lacking finally given to them. Yeah it doesn’t really explain the Paradox Titan, but there really is no reasonable explanation outside of an underground tunnel like you said.

Only Eldian Pokémon that eat Herba Mystica that has been watered with Terapagos’ spinal fluid can turn into titans.

So sad they never got too much into the lore but they went waaay too much into Kieran 😅
