A very engaging discussion, enthusiastically said. Quite enjoyed the summation on the classic type-triangle and differences in offensive and defensive stature. Well done :)

Psychic Dark Fighting is also a type triangle As always, I love your information and presentation 😊
@CaylasCapsule9 ай бұрын
That’s a common misconception. Because Psychic can’t hit Dark rather than Dark just resisting it, it’s not a perfect type triangle. And thank you! 😊

This was different than what I’m used to seeing from you, but I really liked it. Your chart game is top notch.

Leaving a like, the average quality of your videos couldn't be captured in a diagram, it's off the charts (would you consider a proper triangle that made using the secondary typing of the Kalos starters?)

As neat as it would be to introduce a new type, it doesn't seem like it will happen. There are 6 reasons: 1) How would this/these new type(s) interact with the other types? 2) Would the introduction of this/these type(s) bring balance to the type chart, all of the Pokémon, and the competitive scene? 3) Which of the old Pokémon would gain this/these new type(s)? -One would need to change the typing of a minimum of 10-20 pre-existing Pokémon. The changes would also need to make sense. 4) How many new Pokémon can you introduce with this/these new type(s)? -One would need to introduce a minimum of 10-20 new Pokémon of this/these new type(s) per generation for as long as they end up making new games. 5) Which of the old moves would become this/these new type(s)? -One would need to change the typing of a minimum of 5-20 pre-existing moves. The changes would also need to make sense. 6) How many new moves can you introduce with this/these new type(s)? -One would need to introduce a minimum of 5-20 new moves of this/these new type(s) per generation for as long as they end up making new games. In the hypothetical scenario of turning Sound into an official typing rather than remaining a move sub-type, I can think a numerous Pokémon that could become pure or part Sound type. One of the issues that comes up, however, is that all sound-based moves are either special-attacking moves or status moves. Second, there are the Punk Rock, Liquid Voice, and especially the Soundproof abilities. Liquid Voice turns all sound-based moves into Water-type moves, whereas Soundproof makes a Pokémon with this ability immune to sound-based moves. Either players have to build Sound's type effectiveness around these abilities, change these abilities, or even remove them. Finally, even if people figured out the type effectiveness of a Sound type, I don't know how it would balance out the game in a positive manner. It could be that it wouldn't balance out strong types like Fire, Fighting, Dragon, Ground, and Fairy, but instead add a new strong type.

This is why I said grass should have gotten a resistance if not outright immunity to Fairy attacks.

I hope so, because Ice REALLY needs another resistance! It genuinely hurts me as a fan of the ice element knowing that Ice-types are terrible defensively.

Wait Terra Shards are edible? So are they like rock candy? Also will you do a video explaining why Shadow and Stellar both do and count as Types in relation to this?

This is awesome! Well done. :)

No Lie you did amazing with this whole concept!! 💯🌺 Now I gotta wonder,if a Pokémon's mother was to possibly be injected/infected by other Pokémon a Opposing DNA (And/or Typing) Would it lead to their offspring acquiring a New Type? Or at least Obtain new moves as result of their unique DNA?
