The sausage and bean slow cooker meal is delicious. I added rice at the end and it soaked up all the juices YUM. My 2 year old enjoyed it too. We’ve also tried and really enjoyed the sausage, potato and choirizo traybake. Both meals were REALLY simple to make and tasted great. I think both would work well with chicken thighs or drumsticks too. Thanks Kerry.

I noticed a lot of people commented that they thought you included a lot of meat in the week but it was probably about as much as we normally eat. I struggle to include less of it as my carbs need to be gluten free and where I live that can be very expensive. We do love your chickpea curry though! Thanks for all the fab recipes - I sub in rice for your cous cous or bulgar wheat recipes but they usually work perfectly

I love how you make sauces from cooked vegetables. I have yet to try your technique of cooking pasta in the same pan with other ingredients; do you use hot water when adding it or is it straight from the tap?

It’s a great way to sneak in some veggies and your kids not knowing!! I always use boiling water but just so it heats up quicker so makes the dinner making process a lot quicker!! Xxx

No they come out just as they do when you cook them in the hob.. not mushy at all :) they are cooked through so don’t have any firmness to them but they aren’t all mushed up! If that makes any sense at all!! Lol xxx

I would love if my boys would eat these dinners, they look yummy. They're not particularly fussy it's more that they like completely opposite things so it's hard to find something they both will eat. I've always given them what we eat and if there's something hubby and I want we don't make so something different but then I end up having to give them something before bed because they're hungry. Such a pain xx

The cup in the middle is to lift the pastry up so it’s not resting on the contents too much to make sure it gets nice and crispy all over :) tiger bread is a lovely crunch loaf of bread.. perfect for dipping in sauces from meals :) xxx

Even though your meals have been mainly geared towards a family based audience I have always been able to take bits and bobs to add to my extensive (limited) repertoire. Is that how you spell it? Anyway, regardless of me telling you to do it, keep doing what you are doing!
