Never heard anyone say to not repaint old minis, that’s pretty much all I am doing these days. Hate to think how much money I would have wasted if I only painted new minis.

Those Void Walkers are looking much more colourful now! Probably the most different, distinct colours I have seen on a single model without it looking messy! Also, Dummy Thicc, I guess.

Before I fully decided on Black Templars I painted most of the minis from my Indomitus box in different schemes, now I'm torn on whether to strip them and restart as most are at the base coat stage or roll with this ad hoc force of marines.

There's no right answer, you can do a scattered force of different chapters or re-do them all in black 😁

I use to repaint...these days I sell my fully painted and assembled models for the cost of the new kit. it's a win win for me and I have yet to have model not sell for the price I wanted.

Is it ok to re prime models then paint them even if paint all ready on ? got a bunch of old tanks to repaint.

I've generally never had an issue with doing that! If the paint that's already on there isn't really thick, it should be fine!

Its ok to repaint if you want. However ! I recommend you always keep a original ( if you can lol ) so you know how far you have gotten. I keep some of my first mini's in there original form to look back on here and there. Feels good to know you improve even if your not pro.
