Got the series X yesterday. Put that in the living room, my PS5 in the bedroom. My wife wanted the Xbox for the upcoming fable game and I wanted to play stalker 2. I have yet to play because it's Christmas so I probably won't play anything til Thursday or Friday. I do have cyberpunk 2077 on the Xbox that came with the console. Definitely want to try that game!

If you haven't played Cyberpunk you're in for an experience especially with new update they put out. I wish I could relieve starting that game for the first the time. I personally think the game looks better on the X but the haptic feedback on the PS5 really immerses you in the experience

@thev3432 That's a fanboy take but I'll try to answer in a serious tone I have all 3 consoles (Xbox, Switch, PS) because I want to be able to play any game, and yes Xbox doesn't have many exclusives but has some that I really enjoyed, that I will not be able to play on my Switch or PS5 (Hallo, Forza, Starfield, Hellblade, just to name a few) it also has gamepass that is amazing (even for me that I'm mostly a physical game collector) and amazing backwards compatibility, so no it's not a waste of money, and the more you think like that the more you deny yourself some amazing gaming experiences out there

If we're being honest psn is behind compared to the xbox ecosystem,ive been seeing a lot of PlayStation users coming to their senses when it comes to xbox. You can't plays exclusives all day or remakes or remasters. The most played games are on 3rd party, Your hardware isn't even better. You just have games. Storage is a big one for me. The PS5 only allows one external HDD to be connected at a time. I've had three HDD connected to my Series X and they all worked fine and at the same time. Also, when moving games between storage devices, the PS5 makes you go from HDD1 to Internal Memory to HDD2. You also have to physically disconnect HDD1 and then connect HDD2 between transfers. Series X just lets you go from HDD1 to HDD2. Seriously cutting down on transfer time. Another annoyance is that the PS5 won't let you do anything whilst it's in the process of moving games around. You have to wait until it's finished before you can use the console again, which can sometimes take hours. The Series X handles transfers in the background, so you can still use the console whilst it's completing the task.

I have both. I play my xbox alot more. Gamepass has so many great games for value. The controller is perfect. Console is silent. I honestly barely even touch my ps5 anymore. The exclusives are so overrated. The joystick placement on the controller is awkward and my thumbs just keep hitting eachother and the console sounds so loud and annoying to the point that its distracting at times. Xbox also makes it easier for me to switch to pc next gen which i will do.

Xbox will be releasing their own console as a baseline and other manufacturers can produce higher level specification hybrid pcs that are certified to Xbox or higher specifications. That means they are also PC"S and can be as powerful as you want them and they will have steam etc as hybrid PCs.. Xbox is also a publisher and also has the best service in gamepass. Allowing other storefronts isn't a problem for Xbox they are selling games everywhere across all platforms. Playstation's pathetic moneyhatting will be no longer relevant, just like the playstation console the second the hybrid Xbox drops on the market, and it comes out before the PS6.

Every video game analysis from DF states that almost all the games runs and performs better on PS5 than Xbox series X. Which makes me wonder if the power flobs really makes a difference. But certainly both boxes are pretty similar so it doesn't matter which one you get. Now it all depends on what types of games you want to play. Want to play almost all RPGs/JRPGs and VNs/Dating Sims,yes PS5 is the best. Everything else PS5/Xbox both solid choices.

For the moment I'm using my PS5 as a Netflix - Amazon machine with a wireless Steelseries headset as my TV's bluetooth is not working :) After finishing the last proper exclusive (Stellar Blade) which i started after finishing COD 6 / Stalker 2 / Indiana Jones on gamepass I'll probably sell my PS5. I have both and the only reason I've dusted off my XSX is to watch movies on disc. You also have quite a few games now that are skipping out on Xbox altogether or at least until much later when they can presumably not have a game run like 💩 on the Series S.

Gamepass is a scam. You're paying more than you would spend in a year if you ony buy 2 games a year, mostly 2k and cod. As a former Xbox player and a present PlayStation player, I would argue about that the power of the Xbox is better because the PS5 is running the games of Xbox better. Also, I’ll say that the fifth feature is that you can save your game saves on cloud without a subscription, but you’ll need the PS plus subscription in order to do so.

1...I can give a couple reasons. The PS controller is better for shooters and fighters, many Xbox fans are horrible at competitive and hard games. 2... PS5 outperforms Series X in graphics and performance in many games. PS5 even has an 8k 60 game that renders only 6K on SXS. A lot of Xbox fans don't like good graphics since the praise the Series S so much.
