Small, discreet, powerful yet simple, fun to use. Using the Ricoh GR original 16mp APSC today. I use a SD card reader for my phone so no issue not having WIFI at all.

Dope review, thanks for making it! Seriously considering it as my everyday camera to supplement my X-T4

traded mine for a lens recently and was starting to regret it but then I saw the new pentax rumours and it gave me some hope for the GRIV.

I love my Ricoh griiiX but i like shooting my X-E1 & X100 more. The Ricoh is just so much better indoors or in low light because of the ibis. I wish it had a flash though

You incorrectly stated there is an EVF available , there are optical viewfinders available but EVF is not available.

Thank you. Often times when I make these videos I get something slightly wrong, usually because I don’t use that feature. Thanks for your input

I'd like Ricoh to make the GRIV a 35mm equivalent. I just think 40mm is a little too narrow and 28mm is too wide for a narrow. 35mm wpuld be perfect!

Would be nice

The A7C2 and A7CR should have internal storarage since they only have one card slot.

Really confused between this GRiii and x version
@Jay_Ducker10 ай бұрын
what focal length do you like?
@eebags17 ай бұрын
The GR III has a 28mm full-frame equivalent field of view, while the GR IIIx has a 40mm equivalent field of view.

If you take more landscapes, go for 28mm to get a wider field of view, if you prefer to take photos of objects upclose go for the 40mm. However with the 28mm, there is a setting where you can crop to 35mm if you don’t need such a wide view, the trade off is you’d lose some clarity.

Hi Jay, I'd like to get my hands on one. I have one question though. I watched this and the new video with Sean's Fuji X1006. Your pics always look darker or as if you're playing with shade. I'd likee to know if this is the way your camera processes light or if it's a style choice of yours to make your photos noticeably darker?
@Jay_Ducker6 ай бұрын
Yes it’s my style of choice - I was using my new preset pack - Travel Pack which is definitely darker toned. On reflection I should have used a similar preset to Sean’s or vice versa. This camera is awesome - especially for street photography

Hi Jay! Just picked up the GR iiix today!! 🔥 absolute dream so far. I just wanted to ask though, is it normal for it to get a little warm? It gets warm around a minute after booting and I can’t seem to find if this is normal? Thanks!

Hey Nate, where are you in the world? I shot with this in Thailand last week and it was scorching in my hand so I can confirm it does get pretty toasty especially in warmer climates
@Nate-886 ай бұрын
@@Jay_Ducker cheers for the reply. I’m in the UK. Tbh I was fully expecting a little warmth from such a powerful little camera. Doesn’t affect use whatsoever and so far I’m absolutely loving it!! Thanks again man 🔥🔥
