Ricoh need to implement a qr code system like Sigma and GoPro. Changing all required parameters could then be done almost instantly.

Considering getting one of these and new to recipes. This was my first thought, seems obvious.

A QR code system would be so cool! You could even be super hipster by putting the QR code on the side of an old roll of film to match its style! Even easier, just make it possible to load recipes from the Image Sync app. Then you could share recipes online, load them into Image Sync, and transfer to your phone.

Thank you for the explanation, but I would like one piece of advice. When I save a new recipe, the white setting is saved, but then it appears in other saved recipes. Where am I going wrong? Thank you.

Hello I am quite confused about how to use a film simulation recipe that I have made and saved for my GR3. I understand that once I have made a film simulation recipe, I have to save it in one of the 6 available Boxes of my camera. Right now, I have 3 camera presets (not film recipes) saved in 3 of the 6 Boxes . One is my "Day Time Street settings", another is "Night Street settings" and the third is an alternative Night settings. I have recalled the "Day time street setting" saved in box 1 to my U1. Let's say that I now make and save a film simulation recipe, named "Daylight Spectrum" in Box 4. How do I proceed so that my "Daylight Spectrum" simulation recipe is now applied to my JPEG photos when I shoot using my "Day time street setting" in U1? In other words, how do I integrate /use a saved film simulation recipe in one of my saved camera presets? I have the feeling that I missing somthing and I do not understand how film simulation recipes work in GR3. Thank you very much.

Hey quick question: will the settings outside the specific preset affect all modes globally? Like the white balance setting and shadow/highlight correction? I‘m just unsure how I set 3 different presets when the global settings have to be changed every time switching between recipes?

I did not understand how you set up the final compensation. Thereàs a dedicated switch or you add manually before shooting? Thank you

@LimitedWard2 ай бұрын
Exposure compensation is a dedicated dial on your camera. By default, it's the back ADJ toggle when shooting in Av (aperture priority) mode. You can tell which dial it's set to as well as what value it's set at by looking at the EV indicator at the bottom right of the screen. Simply jog the ADJ toggle left or right until the EV value is set somewhere between -0.3 to +0.3 (whatever your preference).

Thanks for the video. Quick question to Ricoh users. Are these film recepies visible only on playback or can you actually see it on the display while you shoot? I’d appreciate anybody’s feedback 😇🙏🏼
@corydhmiller4 ай бұрын
You see the effect/recipe while shooting, the display on the back changes in real time so you can see how it'll look.
