Planning to move out rather. Agree, Calgary is not affordable anymore. It is already started to wait for bus and it’s already full, specially City Centre buses. Those who pay taxes has to stand in the buses for 1 hour to reach to downtown 😢

Alberta will loosen rules around the use of 'software engineer' in tech sector. This allows a CS or IT professional to call himself 'software engineer' in Alberta. Other provinces have not followed this measure. If you are a software engineer in Alberta, applying engineering principles in your position, you still have to be regulated by the regulator APEGA.

If you are going as PGWP holder, read Alberta PNP application requirement before going. Some streams exclude out-of-province PGWP holders.
