Definitely I'm a frustrated engineering graduate. But it is not just because I have not developed any skills. On a broader perspective, supply & demand is a big issue as well. Let's accept the reality.

JEE sucks this education system is killing so much talents I'm in 12th I know programming and ethical hacking I deserve IIT more than some PCM nerds....India will never develop if they don't change their education system

@@SathyaSankar just go to some software companies... they are struggling to find good talent even after offering astronomical salaries..the general perception of unemployment of engineers comes from the zillions of unemployable engineerings passing from local private colleges.

@@iitjee8370 actually none of the top hackers in the world are from ivy League.. the system all across the world demands a person to be academically excellent..along with other skills. Tru that indian entrance system of getting a branch based on pcm marks isn't justifiable. In the west the branch is chosen on the basis of interests. My opinion would be to accept the reality and try to get into an NIT or IIT then you could get ample time to pursue your interests even if the branch is different.

I am a btech passout in 2018....i know many who are not able to gain any new jobs... In third tier colleges teachers are completely unaware about the new job openings in the industry and syllabus is same since 1947.... Core jobs are almost nil.... Students when passed out has absolute zero about an idea regarding new technologies....... Even many of teachers who taught me are now unemployed coz students taking admission in ma college dropped down suddenly.....

അവിടെ സിവിൽ പാസ്സായ എന്റെ മോൻ UK യിൽ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ കൺവർഷൻ എമ്മെസ്സി എടുത്ത് അവിടെ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നു. (ഇപ്പൊ ഈ കോളജിന്റെ പേരുമാറി !) ബീട്ടെക്കിൽ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ പേപ്പറിന് 100% മാർക്ക് കിട്ടിയപ്പോഴാണ് ആ വിഷയം തലയിൽ കേറാൻ എളുപ്പമാണെന്നറിഞ്ഞത്. ഇത് പോലെ ആപ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട് അറിഞ്ഞ് വിഷയം എടുക്കണം...താമസിച്ചാൽ പോലും.

Hi സത്യ. അഭിപ്രായ വത്യാസമുണ്ട്. ബി ടെക് freshers നെ interview ചെയ്യുന്ന ആളാണ്‌ ഞാൻ.90% കുട്ടികൾക്കും skill set illa. Job oppurtunity ഇല്ലാത്തല്ല കാരണം. കഴിവുള്ള ആൾക്കാരെ on the spot offer letter കൊടുക്കാൻ മിക്ക sotware കമ്പനികളും ready àആണ്. അത്രമാത്രം oppurtunity available in the market

I agree with that, Manish. Of course, more than 90% of the engineering graduates lack skills required to be placed in the industry. I have made it as my second point here as well. The rest, which is less than 10%, are either from IITs or the ones who have acquired these skills by on their own. If 90% of engineers lack interest in empowering themselves for the job market, then there is something serious to be considered. Definitely there is no doubt engineering colleges aren't doing the job they are supposed to do. While it is true that engineering students lack skills, it is not only themselves to be blamed. One shouldn't forget the fact that there are several factors other than the skill thing contributing to the unemployability. Supply-Demand is a factor as well. One who has the skill has limited knowledge in connecting to the job market so that he/she is out of the 'Actual Engineeeing'. Only IITs and NITs produce high quality engineers with actual exposure.

Don't just blame the students.. Education system is culprit.. AICTE and government has to acknowledge the problem.. Doing the same thing again and expecting different results is stupidity..

വാച്ച്മാന് രാത്രിയിൽ ചാരായം വാങ്ങിക്കൊടുത്തു ഉറക്കി കിടത്തി, എന്നിട്ടു എക്സാം ഹാളിൽ കയറി ഭിത്തിയിലും ഡെസ്കിലും ഫോർമുല എഴുതി വയ്ക്കുന്ന ഒരു ടെക്‌നിക് ഉണ്ട്.

IIT and NIT irikunna teachers um നേരെ ബിടെക്, MTech കഴിഞ്ഞു വരുന്നവരാണ്.... Quality ഇല്ലാത്തതു സ്വന്തമായി കഷ്ടപ്പെടാൻ താല്പര്യം ഇല്ലാത്ത... എല്ലാം സ്പൂൺ feeding കിട്ടണം എന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു വരുന്ന കുട്ടികൾ ആണ്.... Skill set, Teachers ന്റെ qualification ഒന്നും അല്ല, അതിൽ aptitude ഇല്ലാത്ത passion ഇല്ലാത്ത students നു college ഉം teachers ഒകെ bore ആയി തോന്നും salary കുറവുള്ളവർ കഴിവിലതവരാണ് എന്ന mind set മാറ്റുക..... Social status, വീട്ടുകാരുടെ നിർബന്ധം മറ്റുള്ളവരോട് കാണിക്കാൻ ഉള്ള ഗമ ഇതൊക്കെയാണ് ഇപ്പൊ engg നു ചേരാൻ young generation കാണിക്കുന്നത്....പഠിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു വരുന്നവർക്ക് research mind വേണം, parallel ayi ന്യൂ technology, കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ ലാംഗ്വേജ് oke പഠിക്കാനുള്ള മനസ് വേണം... നിസാരം അല്ല... Plus two level അല്ല പഠിക്കുന്നതും പഠിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതും

Teachers ശെരിയല്ല എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ ആള് അല്ല. സിസ്റ്റം മാറേണ്ടത് time ആയി. പോയി system nannak. ഇവിടെ വന്നു പൊട്ട system നല്ലതാന്ന് എന്ന് പറയുന്നതിന്ന് പകരം . പുതിയ നല്ല സൊസൈറ്റിക്ക് ഉദകുന്നതായിട്ടുള്ള system build ചെയ്യുന്നതിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യം പണ്ടേ developed ആകുമായിരുന്നു 😑😑
