Has stores that I can walk into for various reasons concerning customer support. (If something goes wrong with my $1,000+ phone, the price merits an instant response) The iPhone is more versatile as far as having useful choices in software (iOS and Google) vs Google and 1ui or Samsung experience or touch wiz lol whatever it's a dumpster fire bro.. The iPhone is the 1st to get it right.. The 1st properly create a touchscreen smart phone therefore the iPhone knows what it is & focuses on doing only that.. While the Galaxy has chosen to be a Swiss Army knife style of phone prone to be forgotten by it's own creator every 6 months which sabotages it's own product's overall value... (I also have my own gripes with Apple)

I bought the Galaxy S10. Perfect size and near perfect phone. (Just need to bring back manual video mode) I would NEVER buy an iPhone! Apple's slogan use to be "Do more. Cost less. It's that simple." Now that has flipped on its head. You pay more for an iPhone that can do almost no more than a midrange Android device that costs a fraction of the price. Plus, whenever there is a problem brought to Apple's attention regarding the phone, they turn around and say that it's the user's fault. All you're buying is a half a smartphone with a half eaten Apple logo on it.

My opinion is based off of buying phones outright and having to keep them for years. I had an iPhone 6 before this S8plus I have now. I miss the iPhone 6. My S8 plus has screen burn in and my KZbin app never works right. Like the upload by date still shows recent vids just uploaded 3 years ago. Instead of in the last hour. Simple things like that make IOS just better man.

As an ex windows phone user, I would like to tell you some counter reasons, before the conclusion. Customer support not as close as good as apple’s. Receiving OS updates takes forever. Lesser longevity. Lesser resale value. Worse app developer support. Typically iOS is the first and, sometimes, the only one which receives apps and games. Practically no privacy. Complex, cluttered, buggy and laggy OS with worse UX. Gets slower after a few months of use. Requires larger battery and tons of RAM to work properly.

And in terms of usability also, complex systems acquire more of your mental capacity, and as a busy person, I value my mental resources. Some valid points for sure- but don’t try to tell me the finger print reader is better than FaceID simply cuz you can do it laying down. FaceID is still the most secure biometric unlock of any device while the face unlock on Samsung literally comes with a warning telling you it’s not that secure. You’re also comparing a 2018 phone to the newer 2019 phone. Let’s wait until the 2019 iPhone before you draw more fair comparison.

One main reason I switched to Apple was I use a lot of new hardware an I used androids All my life till about 7 months ago. I would have android phones that were like a year or even 2 years old and in perfectly good condition but the software was to old to work with the new software that came with the new hardware I got!!! I always had to go out an get new androids!! But then I tried a apple phone that was like 4 years old an it worked!! I couldn’t believe it, literally a old iPhone that was 4 years old actually worked. So now I’m with Apple with the newest iPhone an I know I’ll be getting newest updates for years an wont have to be going out to buy a new phone cause my phones software isn’t compatible anymore for st least 5 or 6 years. Now I don’t worry every time I open the software package, praying my phones compatible. That’s the main reason I switched. Couldn’t deal with buying a new phone every year or two when phone was in great physical condition. I know a lot of people might not have to worry about this as like I said it’s for work, but if androids did work on the os and updates I think I’d go back to androids cause I’ll be fair this phone does look good. And I wouldn’t pay 1 grand for a phone that’ll probably work for me for maybe MAYBE 2 years max but a phone I can use 5 or 6 years....YES I can justify paying that. Sorry this is so long

I have the S10 plus and I agree with you there is just so much more for the money compared to the iPhone XS Max. Here's a tip: when I watch full screen videos I turn the phone over so that the pill cutout is in the lower right-hand corner rather than in the upper left-hand corner. For many years we have seen videos on television and other places that have had a logo or something in the lower right hand corner so positioning the cutout on the S10 plus to that position is practically invisible. By far this is the best technology I have ever owned in my life and I've been using tech since the 1970s! Thank you Sak for a very helpful channel!

Like you stated for the price of $1000, S10+ is worth the money! I don't feel scam if I would brought the iPhone Xs from Apple. That's why I gladly brought the S10+ to show much support to Samsung for giving value to your customers for spending that much money. I could had went for the S10 but that battery in the S10+ just squash the S10. I never have to worry when I leave with 50% or 60% battery life

I never was into the gimmicky face unlock feature of the iPhone X and later models so I went with the iPhone 8 Plus two years ago Finally after 8 years of being an Apple fanboy, I switched from an iPhone to the Galaxy S10 Plus Prism White(my brother convinced me, cuz he's a Note user)

I swear if Android phones software was just as "smooth" as IOS, had an app exactly the same as iMessage, had Snapchat and Instagram use the camera quality the same as they do on an iPhones then I think A LOT more people would leave Apple. These are literally the only things keeping 90% of people using iPhones. Those and the ridiculous apply ecosystem. Who needs the apply ecosystem when Android works with every piece of tech that doesn't have a half eaten Apple logo. If other phone manufacturers had all thos, Apple would be fucked.

I tried to switch to Samsung, I really did, it just didn’t work out for me, if you walk into any Best Buy and look at the row of Samsung phones side by side, you will notice every single screen has a different colored hue, I bought the s8 when it came out and had to send 3 phones back, and the last phone I had had a pink tint on the whole bottom half of the screen, you can’t get used to or over look shit like that, iPhone doesn’t send out phones like that that I have ever seen, even though iPhone gets their display from Samsung, at least they are quality checked for color

I have the iPhone XS Max and honestly I’m not blown away by the galaxy s10 I remember when I bought the galaxy s6 edge plus i was blown away by that phone then when the s7 edge came out it was still a good phone then I got the s8 plus but the thing that I didn’t like about samsung was the software updates it took longer to get it so I decided to switch to iOS and haven’t looked back the galaxy s10 plus looks amazing don’t get me wrong but when samsung gets faster software updates then I’ll switch back to Android for know I’m happy with iOS

apple products are more seamless to navigate through, provide a more friendly user interface, and feel more fluid and responsive with its stellar gesture system, creating the perfect user experience. which is MUCH more important than a bunch of features that may or may not be used. and if they are used, they are not so important that you can dare to use the word 'destroy'

I have to completely disagree with point number one. The fingerprint sensor on my S10 plus is not consistent at all. The face scan on my iPhone X works perfectly. I have set up fingerprints many times on my S10 plus and can't get it to scan consistently.

Paying $1000, or even $900 for a phone is ridiculous. I left Samsung after suffering 2 Galaxy S8+ losses due to screen breaking, even with a case. I can have a graphics computer built for around that price.

Using a Note 9 and an S10e. Kinda retired my notebook thanks to DeX (using a bluetooth keyboard and mouse). Will wait about 6 to eight months to get the S10+, when the price will be around $800...while the iPhone will still be $1100... Isheep cultists are happy being fleeced. Leave them be.

I have the black ceramic S10+ and I've been trying to get comfortable holding it with out making accidental touches. It's driving me crazy- besides a case, What else can be done? And Besides the biometric facial recognition when unlocking the phone, How can I get the camera ring to light up when I open the phone camera? (I've seen this feature demonstrated in a few YT review videos, but mine doesn't seem to light up.) And Is there a way to make the camera ring light up for all notifications (besides edge lighting) and with other applications that use the camera, like Snapchat, IG, ect? And lastly lol Do you guys have any recommendations for a music player? There wasn't one on board or at least I can't locate it. Thanks guys!!🤘🏻

I agree that from hardware and features are much better on the S10, but what it boils down to is basically the software experience. Even if the iPhone were to have more features, you should go with the software you prefer and vice versa.

I don't know how my S10 Plus works different from yours but the fingerprint scanner works about 20% of the time. Even registered the same finger 4 times.

There's a software update for it already. Don't remember if it was literally for the fingerprint issue but hopefully you haven't updated it yet, which is why you might be having problems and hopefully your problem gets fixed with the software update. I'm having no problems with the fingerprint reader on my s10+. It's very quick. Updated the software on March 8 soon as I took the phone out the box.

If you have updated the software already, maybe try toggling on the touch sensitivity under display settings if you haven't already.

@@Arearetee thank you. Already downloaded the update but I toggled the touch sensitivity off and on and re-registered my finger print and I is working now. It was probably the toggling that fixed it.
