It’s pretty funny because I’ve met other female characters in the game and it’s this manly voice that comes from the character. Also the amount of guys I scare when they hear an actual female voice out of a female character is pretty fun. Once I had this guy give me a perfect pelt and when I said thank you over voice chat he came back and said “you don’t need this pelt you need this legendary spirit bear pelt instead” he was very nice.

I love the way the bandits/enemies interact/speak about/to a female character, saying things like "its been a while since I've killed a woman" or "put a bullet in this b****** head". I'm so glad they didn't let males use the women's clothing. When you say everyone is so much nicer to female characters, do you mean players or npc? Pretty much every night I have players shooting at me or blowing up my horse, and those aren't the harassment I get a few times a week from hackers. Their invisible walls, trapping me in place, throwing my horse on to a firepit and the horse actually burns up and dies. Spawning a bunch of people to attack my camp and then shutting down my game and rockstar launcher. People are not nice to my character at all in this game. I try to stay clear of other players, and I keep my white flag up, and my defensive mode on, but they don't care. They'll just keep harassing me until I get fed up and leave for the night.

Niceness has nothing to do with whether your a male or female in game, either you're nice or you're not. I normally play a female in RPGs and games where you can make one mainly for aesthetic reasons. Some RPGs gender lock classes too which is a factor to consider. So sometimes, female is better no matter your real life gender. But when it comes to cosmetic only? I normally go female, and I don't think I need to say why. But in games like Skryim or ESO or whatever, I usually play female when I take a magic type of play through. Female magic users are just better imo.

So I made an ALT account and made a girl on RDO, but nobody helped me out. Still toxic griefers and KOS kiddies after me, ye clothing is diff, but I'm not really bothered if I look like $100k or not. All in all, whatever gender you play as, you're gonna get the FULL RDO experience.

The sad thing is that with any kind of online game, there's no real assurance that you won't run into the jerks or creeps who have no filter for what they say or do. A lot of respect and genuine kindness and sportsmanship can be thrown out the window with online games. There's not always a whole lot of consideration for the other person, only one's self and what they want to do to have fun. Part of me thinks that playing this game online could be really fun, but also really frustrating and depressing if your constantly being stomped on by other players. Its a very mixed bag, no matter if you play as a female character or male. If you find your own little possy to team up with who got your back when you play together, maybe that would be a little more reasuring, and fun. LOL, imagine a group of gal gungslingers strollin' down the street and smacking however tries to be a jerk to any of their team XD

I've risen my eyebrow so high that it became a helicopter that ended up flying out of the window all to the moon when I heard that players are supposedly "nicer" to you if you are female character. In my experience it was the other way around. When I'm playing as a guy, nobody gives a damn thing to me. They kill me and all that fun part, but... When I tried playing female character once I still didn't have anybody give me a damn thing. I dare saying they were killing me even more than when I was a guy. Not to mention all the stalking and hogtie fun stories in which players tried to emulate that R word thing that my guy surely never exeprienced once up to this date. I guess you were lucky with server or something when you were trying female character, but in my experience (and experience of many others who have female avatars from what I heard), players tend to be far more worse to female character players than male ones.
