⁠In my opinion, many men (especially the ones who haven’t really experienced a real relationship with a woman) tend to lack imagination and be too optimistic about women for no good reason. They think it’s okay to put us on their “not-yet” shelf expecting us to stay there obsessed with them until they are ready. That’s probably why they are so surprised when/if they come back and we say “no thanks.”
