I drove an Evoque and loved it. It's reliability is poor and the closest LR dealer is 2.hours away. Bought a 4 Runner.

Gaps good...paint excellent.. engineering fit and finish great...still mechanically unreliable.

Unless Range Rover was purchased by a Major Japanese carmaker ( more possible now with such a strong yen ) i would not risk my hard earned cash.

The yen is at a historical low vs most currencies because of its low interest rates.

I am hoping my sister would marry a Land Rover mechanic so that I could finally buy a Land Rover. Otherwise, I'd never own a Land Rover in my lifetime.

then dont buy. People buy land rovers for their looks, not for their reliability. Land rover doesnt need audience like you, please dont watch another video of its product.

David - I am a little confused. Gaps > 3 mm in automobiles built in Japan are characterized by you as less than high quality. The Land Rover Evoque has gaps >3 mm which you are classifying as high quality? Am I missing something or misunderstanding you?

3 to 4mm gaps are already "good" standing... but if 3mm or less, it's world-class.

Surprised to see you do this one. I use to want a Range Rover sport. They are still very beautiful pieces of crap. Toyota, Honda or Mazda only.

@@wodka15 A small request, Lets appreciate land rover for making beautiful vehicles with exciting colours. Look at bmw these days making ugly grills, mercedes for making same design for entire lineup. Other manufacturers are bending curves like there no tomorrow.
