[MY NEXT DAILY] 2024 Range Rover Evoque Test Drive

I booked my F-Pace SVR in for its service, arranged to get a P400 Velar, ended up an Evoque. A bit disappointed, but I had the previous Evoque and really liked it. This one though was nice but the bonging drove me mad and the fuel consumption was shocking for a 3-cylinder 1.5l hybrid. It had nearly 4k miles on it and it was 31.8mpg over its lifetime. Which was less than the average I was getting out of my 2012 2.4D XC90! I really did like the LED headlights though, the way it blanked out car when using the highbeam was impressive. I've the LED lights on my F-Pace, with Highbeam Assist, but this was on another level. I thought the build quality was good and it was nippy at lower speeds, but overall, a step down on the previous version I thought.

Solid review. I would completely agree, do want the high beam assist on my F-Type but will have to upgrade for that…

It’s not like an iPad just because Apple is one of the best software house companies, viceversa Land Rover make cars mostly. You can also remove the “annoying bongs” with one tap from a steering wheel button 😅

Funnily enough I've just picked up an evoque also. It seems that JLR are doing a bit of a dirty on you at the moment. No exactly a customer experience to rave about :(

f type exhaust valves done ? are they stuck ? I have 1 valve stuck cant fix it so 3k for a back box

bro, there is no way that 3 cylinder 1.5 engine had consumtion 31mpg, can you please drive in city with eco mode, with both engines(combination), but dont go above 60ml/h

No bullsh!t - It did haha. It was in eco mode and I let off the gas wherever possible, and electric mode jumps in sometimes, but it always had only 1% battery electric never plugged in

Depends where you live insurance by me isn’t bad - but that infotainment system 😤😂
