I completely agree with your assessment. I purchased the 1095 version and enjoyed it so much that I turned around and purchased the S35VN version. Great size, very easy to carry and pack. While I own more Izula's than 3's, I feel the difference is the 3 can can accomplish most camp chores while the size of the Izula pretty much limits it to strictly backup duty. I like your sheath.

I bought a Rat 3 2nd off eBay I like it it came with a hard sheath and options to mount it . I got the last one the dealer had for $45 its about the same blade as the Esee

I've got an Esse Izula 2, son #1 has the #4 and son #2 has the #5. The Esse 5 brings a grin to your face every time you pick it up. If I just had one brand to go with it would probably be Esse.

Yep! The ESEE 3, 4 and Izula-II make great neck knives, of course I replaced the scales from those by the Knife Connection. I recommend ESEE knives all the time, even over Mora knives, primarily because they are made in the USA and have a no questions asked lifetime warranty!

I am trying to decide between the 3 and 4 Esse can't make up my mind. Wish one would you recommend I love the warranty best in the knife world that I know of. Just looking for EDC and do everything kinda knife. Thanks Kyle

Got a 5... beast... Not made for sitting in a pocket... Also two 4s ... one for me, one for my wifey... What size is your hand? What do think you will use the blade for... Also, a bigger knife can do what a smaller knife can, but a smaller knife cannot do everything a bigger knife can😊

I like esee and tops but esee more. I think the best blade from esee is the cm6 with the G10. I love the 4 as I have two and a 3. The 3 is a sick edc.

I have a utica utk-n2 much better design and grind. But most importantly it wasn't overpriced. My problem with esee is how much they charge for 1095.

Good video. I have both the 3 and the 4 in S35VN stainless. I wish they would use it for their larger blades.

Or you can get the architect 3 blade blank, which is in Magnacut 62hrc, then ad whatever scales. It comes out to about 20 bucks more depending on the options you choose

I mostly have Esee knives in different vehicles. As far as EDC...I rarely carry fix blades. A 3.5-4” folder is usually on me and if I need a more capable knife I usually have a 4-5” ish fixed blade in my pack close by...
