Thanks Lindsay, you're talking about me. My problem is when I go shopping (I haven't shopped since Feb.) is I get distracted by anything shiny and sparkly which is calling me. I'm also drawn to colours. And, I haven't met a print I didn't like.

You are right on....I have way too many statement pieces, but I hate to get rid of anything because I love them, they are timeless, and cost money. I guess I believe upon retirement, I may get to travel or do more to be able to wear these. I need to do purging of regular clothing which I don't wear. It does seem that I have the basic pieces you describe....I cannot wait for Fall weather, as I love to wear boots!!! Thanks for all your suggestions.

That is so on point. It took me a while to figure some of that out. Wish I could have seen this video a long time ago. I love unique pieces and colors. So looking at basics was like blah. But learning to pair them with my colors and statement pieces had me singing 'A Whole New World' from the cartoon movie Aladdin. Sorry have kids...

I have so many jumpsuits I love but I always skip them over because occasions I would wear them to involve being outdoors (it’s too hot) and drinking (aka peeing a lot 😂)

Reason#7 What the f is the occassion? Ie How do you dress nicely when you are doing politics but at the same time casual/ excentric for a party of Non-conformists the question would be in my case. The answer I’ve gotten from another woman higher up is take things that could work in other parties and add an accessory which makes it fun, especially in party colours for a twist. Personally also I tend to boots and a colourful lipstick in my signature colour. What is your uniform?
