A pariah is a desi dog, while a stray is an ownerless dog and a mongrel is a mixed breed. Coats depends upon the breed of parent dogs...

Any mongrel I've had has been wonderful. Too much interbreeding in so called purebred dogs. In my opinion mongrels are so much healthier.
