I have a 93 f250. 6in lift on 37s..including traction bars.. It rides a little rough but its still badass...totally happy with it

Tuff country sells the ibeam drop brackets with a camber bolt adjustment to fine tune the camber and makes it easy for the shops to do wheel alignment and get it dead on without having to be switching out caster/camber sleeves on the upper ball joints. This also helps cuz eventually the springs will settle in and sag changing the camber again and a different sleeve would need to be installed each alignment. By getting the drop brackets with camber adjustment this eliminates having to switch caster/camber sleeves and makes it cheaper to get a wheel alignment each time. Hope this helps

I have a ‘95 F150 short bed. I put a 4 inch lift on it. Since I was taking it all apart, I replaced every bushing on the suspension. It was just me doing all the work.

I have a 1996 f150 just put a 6in lift and 1.5 levaling kit on the front and iam having a hell of a time getting the camber right. Finally had to send us to a 4x4 shop to have it done.

I have a 1995 f150 flairside I put a 6 inch rough country on it, I did the same we took it to my buddy’s shop and it took us a total of 18 hours….. yea he’s not joking yall it’s a lot of work but it’s definitely possible if you work hard on it. Mines also a 2wd and I put the same rims and tires on it as he did. It’s about to get painted satin black so it’s gonna be sweet.

Superlift seems to have the most complete kit, they keep thier design in specs with the limit of what the truck is capable of

I have been torn and haven’t done it yet. I have a 93 2wd extended cab stepside/flareside, I can’t decide between a 4” or a 6” lift. I have the tires and wheels already. 16” m/t wheels with 33/12.50/16 tires. I’m afraid the 4” will be too little and the 6” will be too much. In retrospect, I have a 92 F250 4wd, with a 4” lift that ended up closer to 5”-6” of lift (hence the fear of the 6” and it not settling in).

I got a 92 2wd inline 6 im about to lift 6 inch and put 30's on and I already know the hate im gonna get but I don't care I live on a farm it will get used as a farm truck but what the best way to go about. another note for my truck is the last owner lowered it the only reason I bought it was the condition and the low miles, 117000 for $1500

i just picked up a 4wd 86 bullnose for 1600 with only 57000 miles it was used a farm truck then retired since they got a new one and sat since has the 5.8L HO motor what a steal! runs and drives not even any rust underneath just needs a new paint jobs and it got some dents after farm work.

what degree camber bushing did you have to use for 6inch lift? i did 2 inch leveling in my 96 and had to go with a 2.25 negative camber bushing and also did you have to buy aftermarket camper bushing or was the alignment shop able to get them with a big enough degree?

It's just as much work to go from a 0-6 inch lift as it is to go from a 2-6 inch lift if you ever plan on going bigger than you will have just as much work so just put the lift you want to begin with

Im not to sure about that.. I would think nothing since you are "leveling" it. But You never know with the twin I beam lol.. You may need new camber nuts or something like that.

Why would camber be an issue if you get everything lined up right and straight?

The front I-beam stays the same length so when you lift the truck it pulls the bottom of the tires inward. So, while everything may be lined up right, you still have to fix this issue.

We are putting a 79 Ford font end so dana 44 and 8 inches it will eliminate 4 of those reasons

I have an 80 Bronco with 4” lift. Alignment and tracking is perfect. Never had an issue. Trick is, to make sure all the components are in good shape.

@@ChaseTyson did you install turned dropped front axles? Dropped brackets are borderline usable after 4” lift. Also use extended radius arms. These upgrades will bring alignment specs better than factory specs

I lifted my 94 F150 and I had a small accident and it bent the crap out of the frame because like you said it’s C channel but the lift wasn’t that hard to install took about a weekend

Lifts are not worth it. 2 inch is all you need you start messing with steering components angel and axle angle.
