I also swapped my charade '84 with 1szfe and the project isn't completed yet because I never got the best work done in one time I always had to spend money and time alot to get small things done. My project is 60% complete in 3 years still 40% is left and I have spent alot money which I shouldn't have. power to weight ratio is not the weight of the engine my brother . ( its how much power your engine is making and what type of weight your car has so it doesnt stay underpowered ) . reference to the video 3.50 seconds till 4.25 secs .

Both are really great engines. Of course a V8 will have more torque with out any mods, and a k series engine will be easier to mod. Also the k series will leave a lot more space inside the engine bay. If it were me I would choose the 1UZ.
