1. pull ups should be shoulder width apart. 2. do pull ups at a 30% angle. 3. your not stretching / squeezing on incline or decline. 4. do barbell bent over rows / dead-lifts if you want thick back. 5. don't jerk your reps, keep form at 100%.

for all you guys wondering why your muscles won't grow, its because of your posture as long as you don't fix your posture and the imbalances that carries your muscles will be very limited on what they can grow, this advice is for people who already have good posture and present minimum to zero body imbalances, you are welcome this is one of the best tips / advice you will ever read, it took me a lot to finally get it and i hope somebody finds this useful and doesn't have to go to all the effort, time and disappointment i had to go through.

i find getting the stretch in my lats, 4 things helped me like you said pulling from the elbows, tight hand grip, my grip slightly almost inwards as if your flaring your elbow out (really helped me), and then of course nice and slow, contraction with your mind concentrating.

I suffer from scoliosis and that also led to me having internal rotation of my right shoulder...this makes it difficult to stimulate my lats equally and recently I have felt that the lat pulldowns barely hit my lats properly. Any alternatives to that other than rows? And it would be really appreciated to make a video about shoulder internal rotation.
