I’ve just had a cat put to sleep she was 19& 1/2 years old her name was shadow by name and nature she never left my side I miss her so much I got her as a 3week old hand reared her from the cats protection so she stayed with me she was special needs she couldn’t meow the vet near could find what was wrong with her she used to squeak xx I new what she wanted with that she used to get in the kitten cage to love the kitten I was working on she would wash them which was lovely to see but l also have three more cat summer long haired she 8 years old and sparkles 6 and smudge she white and black and now RIVER she’s a tortie and white l love 💕 seeing them happy playing there all getting on together now and they get fed together and then they like being brushed and river love being brushed as well x

My cat had an acute case of diarrhea but was otherwise fine and active. By chance I found your video, made a list and overnighted the Arsenicum Album, the Fortiflora as well as some Weruva pumpkin. I also made a homemade puree with some rice and fresh cooked salmon and added some when I reintroduced her regular food. It was incredible, after just one dose of Arsenicum and one of the Fortiflora her very next bowel movement was completely normal and formed. I can't thank you enough for all your wonderful tips!

@@sandrad2006 they are so small I just popped it in her mouth where it dissolves. Just keep an eye to make sure she doesn’t spit it out. Hope your baby feels better! If it doesn’t help take her to the vet you don’t want her to become dehydrated bc of days of diarrhea! Let me know how it goes! 🙏

My poor male kitten 7-8 mos had another vomit and diarrhea episode followed by not eating for 2 days. Last one was two mos ago and $600 plus two nights in vet hospital they returned him to me with no idea what was going on. This time I made your homemade turkey recipe about 1/2 hour after giving him a TBS of unseasoned bone broth with probiotics. He loves bone broth. I make it and freeze in ice cube trays. Its so easy to use to give probiotics in a syringe (worst case scenario) or a tiny dish. This turkey recipe was offered to him and he ate and kept it all down today. I give my cats plain yogurt with a syringe about 1 -2 tables. Whenever they are sick. It stops fever and helps them have a appetite. But I have given my cats peptobismol just a tad in some yogurt to stop upset stomach upset and stop diarrhea. And that was told to me by a vet. Now they cant stand pepto at all. But in 2 days it stops.

Thanks for your video, I have started cooking for my cat after reading about benefits of bone broth. Have been feeding her slow cooked chicken and broth (she eats better than I do). She is still having IBS symptoms though, so maybe the next step will be to take her off the dry biscuits and adding probiotic. Dr.Jones your what a real true Veterinarian is that has real heart & soul for animals. My kind of human being (an angel). I trapped these feral kittens that were living under my shed in the back yard. The first two I trapped I took to get spay & neutered and shots. I thought they looked about 5 months old but was told they were 8 months old as they're small in size. About a month later two 5 to 6-week old looking kittens I have seen eating out of the food bowl I leave out for my big Tom feral cat I trapped yrs ago and take care of. I trapped the two little kittens also and one went to a loving home and the other I just fell in love with and kept her. Well the 8-month-old kittens were supposed to live outside in the back yard as feral cats and I feed and care for them. I was building them a cat house and couldn't finish it before the cold weather started in so they had to stay in my house. They're very sweet kittens & gentle but only allow me to pet them and can't pick them up. Their both not trusting yet. I told both my Veterinarian that their stool was real mushy and stinks really really strong all through the house and once in a while real watery stool. They both told me they couldn't help me because I would have to be able to give them the medicine orally 2 X's a day because the kittens won't allow me to hold them at all to give the medicine. Their wild and I am working with them to trust me but that can take a long time. I remembered seeing a video you post about rashes on dogs before. I've been thinking really hard on what to do for these poor kittens and I remembered seeing you on youtube helping people with their animals. Am I blessed I found you again and with a video of just the problem I'm having with the kittens? I'm going to try the probiotics you said to help and see if these poor kittens get back to their stools being normals. It's been like this for a while so I'm not sure which to start with the medicines but I think since they had it for months now I'll start with the last one you suggested. They haven't vomited at all though. Thank you so very much for the advice, it really is a blessing for these little sweet feral kittens as I call them but there over a yr. old now. Thank you.

Thank you for the video! You are outstanding vet, no vet I have ever met made any effort to comment on what to give to cats when they have diarrhea - they appear clueless at least in London, UK!. My cat saw a vet 4 days ago, he gave him 4 injections including antibiotics because he ripped his nail from nail bed jumping off a heater but the vet gave us no whatsoever advice on the diarrhea following antibiotics, which is negligent. I bought for my boy pro kolin advanced probiotics from amazon (awaiting the order) and i will combine with arsenicum 30c as you advised. He got intermittent diarrhea and his anus is red inflamed. He stopped leaking and poo changed from diarrhea to mash potato which is significant improvement. So thank you. I had also recommended you already to two people on facebook! I am aware his antibiotics are for 14 days, so it did impact his intestine so I guess I will have to carry on with the probiotics for 14 days. I also bought him B12 and injected him as advised on the internet. I also noticed in one of your videos that feeding them carb is bad ie buiscuits so \I integrated into his diet smoked salmon and that makes his poo natural firm. So pro Kolin, moving away from carbs and B12 all helped for me. I tried the arsenicum 30c - possibly not. The above mentioned were the best for us. My cat has suspection of IBD bc of chronic diarrhea, occasional vomiting, always hungry, weight loss and thickening of intestines on physical exam. Xrays were "hazy" & my vet suggested an ultrasound to rule out cancer. I didn't do the ultrasound and somehow I rather not know bc I dont want anything invasive done. Just to treat the IBD. My cat is abt 4lbs now, thin by the hips. She was abt 5lbs & lanky. This diarrhea is an ongoing thing unfortunately. My vet prescribed Flagyl which my cat is extremely difficult to syringe & also Hills prescription diet i/d, which she wants absolutely no part of! Question: Can the Diat Earth be mixed in with good quality wet food? I tried pureed pumpkin (for cats) and Fortiflora prior to going to my vet. While on the Fortiflora, her poops seemed very liquidity and she had accidents around the house. I stopped using the Fortiflora. Also, regarding the L-Trypophan, if I need to use this, I would I guess ask my vet for the correct dosage? How much is the dosage & for 30-60 days. I rather go the holistic approach than any steroids even if they might be short term. My cat was ill and was given antibiotics, now he has diarrhea, I am going to give him the Acidophilus Probiotic, just I did not understand the dose, you said 1 Million Organisms, twice a day, but then something about units per body weight, that was not clear, my cat weighs 13 pounds, do I give him a whole tablet or smaller. Is this the same for kittens, obviously not the dosages of remedies suggested. I recently adopted a stray kitten very young (4 weeks) but very smart, a survivor. But has developed diarrhea and I’ve been told that sometimes when transitioning from moms milk to kitten food they can develop diarrhea. I’m not certain about the length not feeding between meals and this kitten is very active and not exhibiting any dehydration. Also I’ve only had this kitten for 7 days and is a voracious eater. Do let me know if I should just observe or treat, also diarrhea started 3 days after arrival and it was a combination but now very wet no form.

Pumpkin. Probiotics. The diameticious earth is natural & does 'no harm' just as much as the steamed pumpkin does 'no harm.' You can also buy it in the pet shops for a couple of bucks but I head straight to my health food store for the organic pumpkin. Do not give raw-cook it. Hi Sheila. In general the standard cat dewormers are very safe. IF diatomacoeus earth, I would be 1/4 teaspoon twice daily for 5 days, stop for 5 days, then repeat.

I've been dealing with Guardia and coccidia in my colony of kitties. I used coconut oil just a tiny bit. Now my kittens are laying cable so to speak. They had very loose stool. This morning very easy cleanup. I didn't give too much since the oil itself can actually cause loose stool . I hope you investigate this and make a video to help others. Really hoping you can help me gain some insight on this problem with my cats. I have a cat that I have had for about 6 months. He has FHV. I got a 3 month old kitten about 3 weeks ago. After a week in both cats had soft stool. Not quite diarrhea. Vet did fecal test and prescribed metronidazole. Test came back negative for parasites. Stool started to harden with medication. 3rd and last day of the prescription and the kitten has diarrhea. I can’t afford another vet visit so soon again. Do you think these tips would help? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I certainly wouldn't recommend Ars Alb so casually. Homeopathics, like drugs SUPPRESS the problem. The difference is it doesn't create additional side effects EXCEPT that if the cat is too weak, sometimes the remedy can make the symptoms WORSE and CONTRARY to what most are told about provings about their "always is healing after a proving", if the patient is too weak, the remedy can make the symptoms more violent and last LONGER only to return to what they were before you give the remedy with ZERO HEALING. If you want to try homeopathics get Dr. Don Hamilton's book HOMEOPATHIC CARE FOR CATS AND DOGS and follow it closely! I know. I've seen it first hand.

Thank you for this information. My cat strangely is straining with soft poo this morning & the only thing I can think is I added a little slippery elm to his food the past 2 days. He does not eat garbage/ inedibles at all; this is all that has changed & he has had a history before I switched him to raw, of poo problems. Can slippery elm cause this problem?

I brought my cat to the Vet for a check up. Since then , problem is starting . My cat is overweight, 17.8 pounds. The Vet told us to change the diet and feed her 320 kcal per day. My cat started having diarrhea problem. Giving her more wet food (merrick) than dry food ( taste of the wild ) . Brought her back to the vet and she gave the probiotic . She was good for 3-4 months and now the problem is coming back. She has diarrhea again . Brought her again to the vet and found out she gained weight. Omg , what did I do wrong . My cat is 7 years old.

My cat ate a squash vine that was about 3 inches long, I'm not sure if thats why he's had diarrhea for three to four days now. The vet X-rayed him and found some weird powdery substance in his upper chest area. She couldn't tell me if that was his stomach or where it was exactly. She wants me to go back and do another X-ray for another $300 dollars. I'm pissed off she cannot figure out why hes having blooding mucus splatter poop with no firm turds. I feed him Fancy Feast Turkey and giblets, and occasionally Almo chicken and green beans. His poop was dark black and very runny, now its brown and less blood but still not firming up and was going in the bathtub so I would see it instead of the toilet as he is trained to do. He was tested for parasites and none were found. The vet thought he might get dehydrated and injected him with a fluid pouch and gave me Flagyl probiotics/antibiotics that he will not eat. He spits the medicine out and fights me or wont eat his food if its mixed in. He licks his food instead of eating it when before he got sick he used to chow down and gulp his food quickly like a beast. Now he won't finish a plate and leaves a lot of it on there. The diarrhea came suddenly without warning and is on day 4 and is scaring me that he is not going to get better. He is about to be five years old and has never had G.I. problems and has eaten little bites of things by stealing them off plates and not gotten sick before. I watch him pretty closely and tell him not to eat off the floor but don't know what this could be. PLEASE HELP!

@@VeterinarySecrets My cat has gotten better and the new X ray shows the powder substance spread out and dissipated. I was given Metronidazole to give to him and his stool has solidified back to normal. The vet doesn't think he got sick off of the vine or know what was shown in the X ray. I guess it was worth the $600 total to make sure he didn't die.

Adopted a sweet 8 year old girl about 8 months ago, poor thing has dirraha bad. My vet got me W/D dry food which has been okay. Poo is still liquidy-ish but at least with this food she can make it to the litterbox. Other foods she just starts pooing on the floor no where near her box. Is there any natural remedies for cats that have Tritrichomonas foetus infection? My three year old cat was diagnosed with it….did the Ronidazole treatments but did not help much and I heard it’s very toxic….any suggestions will be helpful.
